~(Y/n)'s P.O.V~

I glance at my leg. Her Kagune hadn't went all the way through my leg since I'm pretty far from her. The blood seeps out and I grab her Kagune and yank it off. I shriek at the pain but keep running despite the pain trying to slow me down. I run down the empty street. I hear her screams in anger.

"Fuck...fuck" I mutter. I stumble to the ground and wheeze.

"(Y/n)!" I hear. I hear footsteps coming. I look up and see Hide running to me. "(Y/n)?! Are you okay?! Oh my god!"

"Hide..." I mutter.

"Come on" He says and carries me bridal style. I cling onto him and grimace at the pain in my leg.

"M-My house...is close" I manage.

"Are you sure? You need a hospital" He says, his voice wrapped in worry.

"I need to get home" I say firmly.

"No (Y/n), we're going to Anteiku" He says. "Touka will know what to do."

Before I can protest, he starts to run in a different direction. I wheeze and my eyes blink lazily.

Hide bursts into the cafe and the lights sting my eyes.

"Kaneki! Touka! Help!" He yells. No customer was present and Touka gasps.

"(Y/n)?!" She yells. "Take her upstairs now! Kaneki! Bring me the first aid kit now!"

"(Y/n)?!" Hide calls out. His voice becoming distant. "Don't fall asleep! Keep your eyes on me okay?"

"Hide...I'm going to die..." I cough hard and I cling onto him.

"No you're not, you're going to be okay" Hide says and sets me on a bed. "You're going to be okay."

Touka rushes in with the kit and prepares everything but my vision goes blurry.

"(Y/n)!" Kaneki's voice. "Stay awake!"

Suddenly a stinging pain shoots up my leg and I gasp before letting out a scream.

"Hold her down!" Touka shouts. I feel them hold me down and I scream as the pain gets more intense. Then my attempts to escape the pain stop. My screams stop. The pain stops. My vision swirls into blackness.

~Third P.O.V~

(Y/n) goes limp and the silence is deafening.

"Is she?!" Kaneki gasps as he let's go of his friend. Hide stares at Touka who hasn't stopped working. Kaneki panics but Hide turns to him.

"Kaneki calm down, she just passed out from the pain" Hide says softly. Kaneki gulps and looks at (Y/n). Her chest rises up and down slowly. He let's out a shaky breath he didn't know he was holding. Hide looks back at (Y/n). If he hadn't gone after her...no! He can't think like that! He can't imagine it! He's just glad she's alive.

"She should stay here tonight" Touka sighs bandaging her wound. "Is there anyone we should call?"

"I don't know" Hide shrugs. "Anyways I should get going, it's getting late. Call me tomorrow when she's awake."

Both of them say bye to the sunshine boy. (Lmao) Once he leaves, Touka slides to the floor and covers her face.

"I can't believe...that dove was her dad..." Touka's voice quivers. "I killed him! She's broken because of me! I took away her family!"

Kaneki doesn't say anything and only pats her on the back. What was he going to say? That it's okay? No, nothing is okay anymore. Their only reason was Hinami. For Hinami's sake. That man was crazy to kill Hinami. It had to be done.
