~Juuzou's P.O.V~

"Where's (Y/n)?" I ask.

"Juuzou I told you, she's going to a coffee shop with her friends, so she'll be here later."

"Whaaat?" I whine and kick my feet playfully. Shinohara nods and chuckles. It's boring without her! I want her home now! Why didn't she tell me? She's taking too long!

"It's boring" I mutter pouting.

"Don't worry she'll be home soon enough" Shinohara says. I whine and throw my head back.

~(Y/n)'s P.O.V~

"Whoa Kaneki you work here but you're as shy as always" Hide says laughing. I laugh and take a bite out of my sandwich.

"H-Hide!" He scowls but his cheeks turn bright pink.

"Kaneki! Back to work!" Touka says and hits him on the head.

"Now now you two take your break" The manager says, "since your two friends are here."

Touka sighs and plops next to me. Hide picks on Kaneki and pokes his eyepatch.

"Hey where's Hinami?" I ask.

"Oh she's a bit tired right now" Touka says. "Her mom...had to move away so me and the manager are taking care of her."

"Oh tell her I said hi" I say nodding. Touka nods and we all have a huge conversation.

"Don't worry guys I'll be paying!" Hide says proudly.

"Hide are you sure? I can pay" Kaneki says furrowing his eyebrows.

"You work here dummy I'm not going to let you pay" He says pinching his cheeks. Kaneki groans and rubs his now red cheek. I laugh and take another sip of my coffee.

"I'm glad we've hung out again" I say chuckling. "It's nice to be out."

"Yeah we should do this more often" Touka says. I look out to see people passing by and the streetlight illuminating their way. Oh wait it's night.

"Oh it's late" I say. "I need to go."

"Yeah I'll walk you" Hide says.

"Me and Kaneki will clean up" Touka says. We all stand up and I gather up my stuff. Hide hands the money to Kaneki and we both walk out.

"Text me when you're home safe" Touka calls out. I give her a thumbs up and we continue walking.

"It's cold" I say pulling up my scarf up to my red tinted nose.

"Yeah it is" Hide says shivering. "How ya been?"

"I've been good" I say smiling. "And you Hide?"

"I've been great! Got a new set of headphones and a new bike" He exclaims. I laugh.

"That's awesome" I say. He laughs and we joke around a bit.

"(Y/n) you're so short" He says grabbing my shoulders as he walks behind me. I chuckle and march.

"You live in a different house?" He asks as I change direction.

"Yeah it's going to be for a whole though" I say as we both march. People stare at us but we laugh it off.

"Well I'm glad I walked you home" He says, "So you don't get hurt."

"Thanks Hide" I say. We make it to Shinohara's apartment well I guess...home?
