I sigh as I see Danny running across the field, and adjust Chandlers weight higher onto my hip, and she giggles. I've been watching her a lot more lately. Frea hasn't been scouting since Cheyenne was born, and I've been staying around the house and coming in early, because I'm getting exhausted from having so much extra weight. Winny has had to do her part, and stays out later, and I help my dad with all the girls- well he helps me is more like it. Winny comes in exhausted, because she doesn't keep up as well, and so I let her sleep, and take care of Chandler.

I would be okay with playing babysitter, if it weren't for how late the boys stay out. A month ago I was five months pregnant and slowed down to an almost half with how quickly the triplets grew. Leon has been worried about Heather for months before then, and wanted her to slow down. That left only Alice and Winny, and when rogues started attacking on an every few day basis again it wasn't hard for Danny to convince them to let their mates stay out and run extra hours with him. They were all worried.

Danny is more or less himself... Well more on the less part, but when we're together he's always present, and happy. He's just... changed the last two months or so. All of the frustration and fear he woke up with had seemed to fuel something in him that I only got a brief view of when I moved back, and an even smaller glimpse of when I was brought home from being rescued. He was excited and full of life when he got back in from a hard night. He felt strong and powerful, and he had the men's respect undoubtably. They often came home when the sun was already coming up, and they'd be talking about something that happened while they were out, or they'd be laughing. They fought ruthlessly and recklessly, and they'd howl loudly between each other. My dad told me they were just being boys , but I knew they were just fed up with us getting hurt. We all had children now, and a home together, and we didn't want anything to tear that apart; I could agree with that.

I worried about Danny, though.

My eyes were on him as he crossed the field with the others, laughing at something Hunter said, before patting his shoulder as the others cheered and hollered. They both had scratches along their faces, and Danny's nose had bled at one point, but they all looked fine, if not torn back and grimy, but fine all together.

"Hey baby girl!" Dylan cheered as he ran up to me and went to take Chandler.

"Hey, you smell horrible-"

"She doesn't care, look," he picked her up from my arms and held her up in his arms against him, as she giggled again in approval.

"Fine, but you're giving her a bath." I say over my shoulder as he hustles into the house.

"Yes, Luna!" He says with a laugh.

"Is Frea-"

"She's asleep, but she was worried when I saw her last." I tell Owen as he passes.

"I better get inside! Thanks sis-"

"Don't thank me yet!" I said as I shook my head. Danny walked up to me and wrapped his arm around me as we walked towards the house. He smelt of forest and copper, from all of the blood, and was still sweating from running.

"Morning." He said as he kissed the top of my head. I roll my eyes at him.

"Yes, it is..." I say lengthily, and he sighs.

"I'm sorry love- I was out real late- I shouldn't-"

"It's fine. Really." I sigh, but he stops me, puts his hands on my shoulders, and kisses my forehead as he squeezes my arms. I feel my stress dissipate instantly.

"You're an angel." He sighs as he hugs me. "I don't deserve you..." He adds.

"Well, I know it'll only be a matter of time before I'm back. How were things? Did you- did you have any problems?" I ask, cautiously, and I know he knows I'm speaking of his temper.  He takes a moment and releases me, and shakes his head, and kisses my lips quickly.
