Chapter Song: Need You Now - Lady Antebellum

Chapter 47:
(Kerri's POV)
When I open the door to mine and Diana's dorm room I find an empty room with a note taped to my bedside table.
Kellie,
I am not completely sure that is your name, however, I plan to try and treat you with more respect so correct me if you may. I want us to be friends, I don't want to make enemies with you. I read you wrong, I misinterpreted your smart and bubbly attitude and I apologise. I am staying with my friends, the ones you probably saw as creepy dark devil worshippers. I won't be in classes nor will I be at the dorm for about four to five days. Don't destroy our room and don't snitch. Also, when I get back, we have to talk about the alarm clock situation, it's just not gonna work.

Kellie? Really? Well maybe now I'll be able to be friends with my roommate. I guess she just needed to see me break.
I watch as Justin walks over to my dresser and fixes his perfectly imperfect messy hair. Why he's fixing it, I have no clue."Your hair looked just as good as before," I state with a teasing smile. He turns his head around and returns the smile.
"Actually, no, I look better than what I did."
I shake my head in disagreement.
The door opens slowly and the guy that slips in the room is my worst nightmare.
Can you not?
"What are you doing here?" I complain.
Grey smirks at me and walks over to Diana's bed. "Darling, I came to see you."
I could feel Justin's eyes on the exchange. They mostly followed Grey's movements.
This is not gonna be good if it keeps going in the direction it is.
"Well guess what, I cannot explain to you how much I do not want to see you. So move your ass from Diana's bed and out the door, if you please."
Justin stays quiet until Grey begins to change the subject.
"Aw, did you run into her in a hallway too?" Grey directs his question to Justin.
Justin stays quiet until Grey gets off the bed and moves towards me. I can see Justin keeping in his fight, he just responds calmly.
"That's none of your business. I think you need to leave, now," Justin speaks up and motions toward the door. He continues to lean on my dresser, still managing to look unaffected by Grey's actions.
When Grey approaches me and smirks at me all hell breaks loose.
"Hey dude, I don't know who you are but you need to get your ass out that door before I kick it there," Justin states and moves over to the two of us.
Why is Grey pushing everything? What has gotten into him? If I didn't know better I'd say he's buzzed.
Grey narrows his eyes at Justin and pushes his chest," hey, chico, back off. If I wanna come to my girlfriend's room I will, no anonymous dude is gonna spit some smartass remarks at me and tell me to leave."
"Will two work for you?" Lucas' voice comes from the doorway.
The adrenaline that is pumping through my veins made me totally clueless to the fact that Lucas had just walked in. Just the fact that I have gotten myself into this problem makes me want to cry.
Speak up? Not speak up?
"Actually, two is my favorite number," Grey states and challenges the two with his eyes.
I roll my eyes and stand up," all three of you need to get your heads out of your asses. Grey, leave, now, before I call security."
Grey pulls me towards him and kisses me, hard. The whiskey on his lips makes me want to puke.
Justin and Lucas yank Grey away from me and shoves him against the wall, knocking him out.
My heart is literally beating out of my chest. I feel every heart beat all the way down to my toes.
Lucas' face is concerned and his eyes are full of caring covered rage.
"You okay?" Lucas asks after Justin makes sure he isn't dead.
I nod," I'm fine."
Its not the first time I've kissed him.
It's not that I missed his kiss, it's that I've missed him, just him. Even though he's acting like a douche and a total Asshole, I can't help but feel awful for treating him the way I did back in high school.I watch as Lucas sits on the bed beside me and Justin takes a seat on Diana's bed.
"Well I didn't expect to walk in on a full on battle," Lucas breaks our slightly uncomfortable silence.
Justin smirks," I didn't expect that either."
They are having a normal conversation, like friends. I think that makes me slightly more happy.
Lucas nudges my shoulder with his," introduce me to your new friend."
Damn you. You know who he is.
"Lucas, Justin," I motion accordingly," Justin, Lucas."
They nod at each other.
"So this is the guy that you rambled over about being so hot!" Lucas purposely lied. My cheeks heated up and I hit Lucas on the arm.
Justin smirks and looks at me with pure happiness.
"He's lying," I try to state but my voice comes out a bit more smaller sounding than I need.
What the actual frick Lucas?
"So you don't think I'm hot?" Justin attempts to play mind games with me.
I get up off the bed and go towards the dresser. They both have managed to annoy me.
Grey shuffles on the ground and sits up slowly.
"Hey there sleepy head," Lucas states and waves at a calm Grey.
Grey's busted lip makes me feel horrible. They don't know what Grey has went through in his lifetime. He's been to hell and back.
I go and sit beside him. The blood is all over his chin.
"Do you want a washcloth for that?" I ask politely.
"What is wrong with you?!" Lucas yells and gets up off the bed.
I glare at him and motion to get a wet wash cloth.
Justin and Lucas watched calmly as I drag the wash cloth across Grey's face. Nobody speaks. Grey's eyes are attached to my face as he tries to come out of his groggy state.
"Kerri, why do you hate me?" he asks out of no where.
Hate you? I could never hate you. I know I've felt like I could hate you, but I don't think I could for real.
"I don't hate you. But you're gonna hate yourself for not letting me clean you up before you start talking," I state and never take my eyes off his lip and chin, if I was to look up at his red eyes I would die.
He sighs and shuts up while I finish up cleaning his face.
"Kerri, I think I'm gonna go to my room, see you tomorrow morning?" Lucas states holding onto my doorknob with the door halfway open.
"Yeah, love you."
"You too," he states and shuts the door.
So… tell me what you liked and disliked and if you like Jerri. Do you like all the characters so far? I didn't really do much with characters in the first book so I hope you guys can fall in love with one of the characters and get attached so I can kill them. Just kidding. Do you really think I'd kill them off like that? Nah, it'll be a surprise. Hehe. I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Comment or vote!!! -C
