Juan has been gone for three days . Nevaeh isnt phased though.

"Mommy , juice?" Keabran ask. I poured him some juice in his cup and gave it to him.

"What'chu gone say boy?" I question.

" Tank you ma'am." He said .

For me to be a teen mother , i do a damn good job of raising my son. He knows his alphabets , numbers , colors and shapes. If i dont get my education he gone get his. Speaking of education , Juan just texted me and said he would pick her up after school. Everyone was at school and im home being a mommy, teedy, and babysitter.

" Teedy , can i go play outside?" Alajah asks me.

" No ma'am , you can go play in my room though." I said pointing to my room. I be damned. To much shit is going on in this neighborhood.

She pouted and stormed off .

" Lil girl you better fix yo attitude 'fo i fix it for you." I said. Soon as i said that i could hear gunshots going off in the distance.

I shook my head and began to wash clothes.

" What you doing to the kids ko?" I hear my momma ask.

" She asked if she could go out side and i said no." I said continuing what i was doing.

"Korlin she just wants to play. Let her play ." She said , i looked at her sideways.

" What you mean, like not even five minutes after i said that gunshots went off. So excuse me if im overly protective." I said going back to washing.

"When are you working ?" She asked .

" Tonight from 6-12." I said.

She nodded and asked ," i gotta watch Nevaeh too or her daddy coming at her?"

"He coming to get her after school." I said walking into the kitchen.

"I'll cook , go head."she insisted .

I went to the back to check on the kids.

"Alajah come here." I demanded.

She came to me with her head down. "Ma'am?"

I instantly lifted her head up. " Lil baby , dont think i was being mean . Its to hectic and dangerous outside. And dont ever hold your head down that makes you inferior,meaning less of a person. Never walk with your head down . Walk with your head held high and show how important you are. " i told her.

She nodded and hugged me . I hugged her back and kissed her forehead.

"Go help Nevaeh get her stuff together her daddy on the way. "She nodded and walked off with her head held high.

I smilled and went to check on Keabran and Alijah.

They were laying on the floor trying to color . I smiled and walked out .

" Is my teedy yo momma now ?" I hear Alajah ask Nevaeh.

" i'ont have a momma now." She responded.

I looked out the window to see Juan pulling up.

"Nevaeh , yo daddy here baby." I said opening the door .

He got his dreads cleaned up . He looks good. I smiled and hugged him." Hey best friend ."

He hugged me back ." Hey , how was she ?"

Nevaeh ran in and Juan picked her up.

" Simply Unbothered. She was an angel for real." I said being honest.

He kissed her forehead , " Daddy missed his angel. You hungry?"

She nodded ," Ms. Resi was cooking daddy."

" You welcome to stay and eat .I made enough for everyone." Resi said setting the table

"Yes ma'am." Juan said sitting at the table

Six months later.

Now its my due date. I found out i was having a girl. Her name will be Elizabeth MaBria Taylor. Her middle name is from Jasmine. Juan rushed me to the hospital . He has been here for me the whole pregnancy. Now we are at the hospital in the delivery room.

" Juan , can you tell Shay and Keyela to -,"I screamed ,"Tell them to bring me some cheetos and a sprite."

He laughed , " You finna give birth you cant eat none of that. Look , how bout when yall get out of here i take you to applebees."

" AppleBees?" I asked to make sure i heard him correctly.

He nodded and said ," But now you got to push really hard okay."

I pushed once , twice , three times then Elizabeth was here.

She had sandy brown hair and green eyes. My eyes arent green nor is my hair sandy brown.

" Who baby?" I asked looking at her.

" She's yours ma'am." This female nurse said.

They took her and later on brought her back. She was laying in the bassinet wide awake. Good thing she doesnt cry much. I still cant believe im sixteen with two kids . Im not having anymore. I'll be seventeen in two weeks , but i wont be able to do anything because i just had a baby.

"How does it feel to be a mommy again?" Shay asked

" I aint having no more kids. " i simply say.

Her and Keyela laugh. My momma walks through the door with its a girl balloons and teddy bears .

" Aweeee momma, you shouldnt have.Thank you." I say taking the bear.

" Thats not for you its for Elizabeth." She said.

I looked at her , she knows i have an obsession with teddy bears and stuffed animals. " She not big enough for it yet ."

Well damn.I guess i thought. I gave her the bear back and picked up Elizabeth.

She looked at me with her pretty green eyes and smiled ."Your grammy wont let me have yo bear."

She laughed as if she knew what i was talking about. Thats so cute to me . "Liz , how about we share the bear . I have it until your six months ."

She stopped smilling and looked at me like i was crazy . I laughed ," Here momma hold her , i have to pee pee."

I went to go pee. I heard voices chanting .

" Lord be with me ." I said to myself .

After i used the bathroom , i got on both of my knees and began to pray. As i was praying i could hear the voices fading .

Dear God, i need you right now. My mental system is all messed up and the demons are harassing me. Lord , give me the strength to push foward. God i know i dont pray and go to church like i should but Lord i need you. Im on my very last limb. God send me your guidance . Lord you wouldnt put more on me than i could bare. God im not gone give up and i aint gone stop believing and trusting in you. Please Lord , im Jesus name , Amen.
