Changes

**Keith Pov**

I walked in the house around 9. I was surprised to see Beth. I walked over too her, " Hey baby girl." She ignored me and walked out the room. I walked around Ko to go to the room, maybe if i acted like I ain't see her she wouldn't start nothing.

"So where was you?" She asked calm like. I sighed and tried to walk away, she pulled me back. I turned to her. She looked me in my eyes, "You really hurting me Keith. As much as i hate you at the moment, my love for you outweighs that. So please just keep it a stack with me. Where were you and why you wasn't answering your phone ?"

After she spoke i saw a tear roll down her face. Thats how i knew it was real. I shook my head, "I went to see my daughter. Her momma ain't doing shit for her so i took her to my momma house. I already got full custody of her but now she will be living here. I'm gonna take care of mines regardless. And do i wanna lose you ? Hell no , but if you cannot accept my daughter then ..." I finished by letting the rest float in the wind.

She shook her head, " I don't appreciate you cheating on me then expecting me to just be happy about a baby that didn't come from me. I also don't appreciate you calling me a bitch earlier. And i damn shole don't appreciate you talking to me like I'm some random girl on the street."

I shook my head, " You right. I apologize for that, all that. And you was jumping down my back earlier  bout why I wasn't answering the phone , you must've forgot that our daughter broke my phone."

She shook her head, "I apologize for that. I did  forget. And Keith, promise me you won't hit her like that no more. She's just a baby she didn't know what she was doing."

I looked her over and instantly felt guilty. I was mad at the moment and took my anger out on Shy.  I looked Korlin in her eyes, " I promise you not to hit her like that anymore. I was upset and took my anger out on her. I realize now that that was a stupid ass thing to do."

She looked down then glanced up at me, " Whats her name?" Im guessing she referring to my daughter.

" Kennedy Rya Whitney. She's four months," I say. "Lemme see your phone." She hands me her phone and i go to Laila's instagram. I pull up a picture of Kennedy.

Ko looked at the picture in awe, " She is precious Keith," She looked up from the phone. " I'm riding with you through thick and thin. This is one of the many obstacles we have and we just have to overcome it. So , with that being said, Im down with what ever your down with."

I wrap my arms around her and kiss her gently, she kissed back. " Lets go get her." She said. That surprised me, but I grabbed my keys and led the way out the door.

It took about forty-five minutes to get to my mommas house. We got out and walked towards the door. I knocked twice and stepped away from the door.

" Who that!" My momma yelled, i smiled. "Keith."
She unlocked the door with the quickness, " Hey baby. You still ain't got your phone fixed?"

I shook my head no. Ko smiled at my momma, " Hey Momma Jewels." My momma smiled, " Hey KoKo. I didn't know y'all was coming or else I would have cooked some."

She finally moved out the way so we could come in. There i saw Kennedy crawling on the floor. I walked over to her and picked her up, " Hey, Ken Ken. How daddy baby?"

**Korlin Pov **

I watched as He cooed at the baby, and in all honesty, I admire that. The way he talks to her and the way she responds, you can tell they've built a relationship. I watch as she giggled at his tickles. It made me wonder how long had he been in her life. I had so many unanswered questions.
