Ella's POV

I decided to tell Peter about what happened between Jacob and I before he found out for himself. Even though Jacob shouldn't have kissed me, and I shouldn't have kissed back, Jacob doesn't deserve to get killed. I entered Peter's tent to find him sleeping peacefully on the bed. I crawled up really close to his ear and lightly kissed it, causing him to jolt awake suddenly.

"What, who's there?!" he shrieked, flinging his arms around like a maniac.

When he saw it was me, he stopped flailing his arms and rested them by his sides. I laughed at his annoyance and he just glared at me. When I didn't stop laughing, he laughed too and went up to kiss me. Just before he reached my lips, I pushed him back. He looked at me with confusion and hurt but I just gave him 'the look'. He nodded.

"Morning breath?" he asked.

I nodded and he went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. When he was in there, I couldn't stop worrying about what he was going to say, what he was going to do! He exited the bathroom and leaned in to give me a kiss. As his soft lips met mine, all I could feel was guilt. He pulled away.

"What's wrong?" he asked me, "Something's not right"

I stared at him and a tear slipped down my cheek.

"Ella" he asked worriedly, "Please tell me what's wrong"

I patted to the space on the bed next to me and he sat down.

"Jacob kissed me" I said, the tears flowing down my cheeks.

Peter's hand that was resting on my arm for comfort tensed up. More shame came.

"And for a second, I kissed him back. When I realised what was going on, I pushed him away, I swear!"

I turned my head away, to ashamed to see his face.

"Do you love him?" Peter asked softly.

I turned to face him and began to cry again.

"No, of course not! I love you and only you!"

I looked up at him. "Do you hate me?" I asked.

He looked at me, sympathy in his eyes. "I could never hate you, I love you!"

I smiled softly. "I love you too"

Peter's face went darker. "But he has to pay!"

My smile faded and fear clouded my body. "Please don't hurt him!"

He looked at me. "I'm sorry, but he can't get away with this"

Then he stormed out of the tent, rage practically coming out of his ears. I chased after him and found Jacob training in the clearing. I came up behind him and he spun around.

"Ah Ella, just could stay away?" Jacob asked.

"Pan is coming Jacob, he is coming to hurt you!"

He smirked. "I can take him"

Then a twig snapped behind me.

"Can you?" asked a smirking Peter.

Peter walked closer to Jacob. Jacob may be taller, but we all know who is more powerful.

"So Jacob" tutted Peter, "I heard you were fooling around with my lost girl"

"So what if I was?" asked Jacob, "You wouldn't hurt me. Not while she's around"

Peter turned and smirked at me. "Then I guess she'll have to go"

And with a wave of Peter's hand, I was back in the tent, safe and sound. I could hear Jacob's screams but I was powerless to stop them. When the screams stopped, I assumed Peter was coming back, so I laid on the bed and pretended to be asleep. I heard the door open and shut, so I knew Peter was back.

"C'mon Ella. I know you are awake"

I sat up slowly to look at Peter, blood all over his hands. When he saw the direction my eyes were going, he used magic to make all the blood disappear, his hands clean.

"Better?" he asked.

A tear fell from my cheek and I nodded. "Better"

He took a seat next to me and sighed. "I'm so sorry Ella, for everything"

"I just need some time to think about this one, okay?"

He nodded and left the room, one question lingering in my mind.

How could I love such evil?
