Friend or Foe ~ Alduin x Reader

A worried friend

The snow was raining down hard at the top of the throat of the world and the news of the dragonborns where about a had finally reached Paarthurnax.

"What? Why would she do that?"

Paarthurnax thought hard about Alduins intentions and all theory's he came up with were far from pleasant.

He needed to rescue the dragon born but did not know how. However, He was informed about Odahviing and how he aided the dragonborns on her quest from Arngeir maybe he could help again.

Since a dragons cry can be heard from miles away, he flew to the top of the world wall and called out into the distance.

"Odahviing zu'u kent tinvaak voth hi"

After a short period of silence the sound of heavy wings could be heard approaching. Soon the crimson red dragon came into view and landed on the open ground, clearing the heavy snow.

"What can I do for you my old friend"
"It's about the dragonborns, where is she?"
"Well it's obvious you weren't aware of Alduins true intentions"

Paarthurnax was growing tired of Odahviings insulin behaviour.

"Where is she?!?"
"She's in the sky"
"What?!?"
"The portal in Skuldafn didn't lead to Sovngarde, it lead to Alduins keep"
"What is he planning Odahviing"
"I don't know, all that has been said is that there is a new found peace between mortals and dragons, one that declares that neither can harm the other"
"Yes but for how long?"

Paarthurnax knew Alduin and he also knew that a peace like this would not last for long.

"There is a council meeting, I would believe that Alduin will share his plans with us there"
"I just hope that the Dragonborn is safe"
"You have grown quite attached to her haven't you?"
"I have no attachment to the mortal, I only have hope that she is the saviour that Skyrim has long since needed"

When he first the Dragonborn, she was still unaware of who or what she was. Even after all she had been taught, I could still see all the confusion in her eyes.

Yet, I knew then and there that she was going to do great things, that she was going to help us, that she was the one and true....
