Riften

You had managed a successful night's sleep with no interruptions. Hilda seemed a lot calmer which pleased you greatly. It was dark when you reached Riften. You deemed it wise to hide your identity using the blanket to do so. As you approached the gates you were stopped by one of the guards.

"Hold there! Before I let you into Riften, you need to pay the visitor's tax"

"What's the tax for"

"for the privilege of entering the city, what does it matter?"

Riften, it never changes.

"this is obviously a shakedown"

"all right, keep your voice down... you want everyone to hear you? I'll let you in, just let me unlock the gate"

You entered Riften with Hilda close by you. The streets were quiet, which was good for you.

"So where do we go from here?"

"to the graveyard, that's where the entrance to the thieves' guild is"

You went to the crypt which had the symbol. Activating it, the crypt was pulled back revealing some steps. You and Hilda journeyed down closing the crypt behind you. Once you entered the Guild, you were instantly met by a familiar face.

"Brynjolf!"

"what are you doing here lassie"

He gave you a small hug.

"last I heard you were taken prisoner by a dragon"

"I was then something happened"

"what happened?"

"I'll explain later but for now, can me and my friend stay here?"

"Of cause once your settled come and find me"

"thank you Brynjolf"

"Anytime lassie I'm just happy you're alright if you need anything you know where it is"

You unpacked the little amount of stuff you had. You cleaned yourself up before changing from your dirty, torn dress into something more comfortable.

"Hilda, here some clothes"

"thank you"

"I need to go talk to Brynjolf and Karliah"

"do you have a plan?"

"I have an Idea of a plan"

"You want to do what?"

"Build an army"

"of vampires and werewolves and the dawnguards"

"and with the aid of the imperials and the stormcloaks"

"you're insane! How are they going to work together?"

"I persuaded the imperials and the stormcloaks to make a truce"

"yes, but you're talking about a truce between man and beast"

"I'm very convincing"

Brynjolf started laughing slightly. Karliah gave him a hard look.

"what? Look Karliah, if anyone is going to stop the army's from fighting and convince them to work together it's going to be her?"

Karliah sighed loudly knowing that Brynjolf was right.

"and how are you going to convince them to join together"

"easy I'm leader of the companions and best friends with the vampire leader"

"and what about the dawnguard"

"their people, it won't be hard"

"well good luck you'll need it"

"thank you"

"but one question, how do you plan on getting everyone into the castle"

"vampires can fly and I have a few winged friends who can lend a hand"
