"I just want to find out who drugged me, how I ended up in pale Riverton and why anyone would do this." She gasped in tears as the detectives back in pale tired to comfort her. Charlie's family and Dave traveled back a few days later to further investigate her case as well as take a pregnancy test. She cringed at the thought. This random man, whoever he was. Could have possibly gotten her pregnant. She couldn't sleep at night, she had panic attacks, headaches, fits of rage. Knowing she lost her virginity in such an unwholesome disgusting way, sent chills up her spine. She swore if she ever came face to face with this man she'd kill him.

Strangle him with her bare hands. Charlie was the one who had to ware the embarrassment and shame of being pregnant by a disgusting man. Having his child. Being a teenage mother. She felt there was nothing humanly possible anyone could do to deserve such a fate. She shook with anticipation as she went with a doctor to have a urine based pregnancy test. Her parents held hands and prayed openly as she disappeared behind the doors.

While She was away, Charlie's parents thanked Dave deeply for driving Charlie paying for a hotel and buying out his time to see if she was okay when he didn't even know her. He refused to be payed back. Because of his true Chivalry they considered Dave family. Charlie's mom constantly hugged him, kissed him, made him home made pastas, soups, cookies and cakes, spending hours in the kitchen for him.

Her cheeks grew red and full when he spoke and her bright green eyes squinted in greatness when she smiled at him. Meanwhile inside the doctor's room Charlie awaited her results, the 5 minutes it took to get them felt like 5 hours. Finally a petite young doctor came in to greet a very anxious Charlie.

Her eyes shut, and fists balled preparing herself for the worst. She folded her thin lips in and prayed silently, she prayed she wasn't pregnant by the man who violated her, she prayed that she wasn't a 17 year old single mother.

Tears trickled down her face as she huffed repeatedly. The woman nodded at her and asked her if she was ready to hear. Charlie reluctantly nodded. The woman at once flashed a bright white smile saying that she wasn't pregnant.

She burst into tears running to hug the doctor tightly. She cried in relief and happiness. At the sound of Charlie's hysterical cries her mother rushed through the doors frantically. Then said in a hurt tone, "It's okay Charlie, we will get through this.."

"Mom I'm not pregnant." She squealed in tears, grasping out her mother tightly.

Then her mother let out a sigh of relief. Her father then joined the group hug. Dave stood in the door way smiling with in endearment in his eye. The family raised there hands to the heavens and praised god over and over. Charlie was thrilled. She knew if she had to carry a rapists child she wouldn't be able to emotionally deal with it for long.

She knew she'd end up having an abortion. If not she'd drive herself into an insane asylum. She knew she wasn't ready to raise a child either. Charlie had been out of school for sometime, because of recovery. She didn't want to go back. Because she knew she'd be confronted with questions, assumptions that she ran away or some other outlandish ideas that weren't true. Nor did she want sympathy, she wanted seclusion, deep seclusion.
