SCOTT POV
We're back to school again. I'm getting the books out of my locker and putting them in my backpack.
When I close the door Malia's running to my side.
-"Hi" I say
-"Hi, have you catched the scent of another supernatural lately?" She asks
-"No, Katherine is the only one" I answer
Malia looks down to the floor dissapointed.
-"Hey it's okay, we're going to find them soon, maybe they're just taking longer in finding you" I say kindly
She looks up at me and gives me a smile.
-"Why the rush?" I ask
-"I don't know... I just, when I found Katherine... The feeling I got, it was like, relief... I felt relief or maybe peace. I don't know, one of those two. I just felt relaxed, and I think that I won't ever feel relaxed again if we don't find the last two coyotes of my pack" She says as she tries to find the words
-"Malia it's okay. We'll find them" I tell her with a reassuring smile
She smiles back and says
-"Fine, lets go to chemistry, even though I don't like chemistry it's the only class I have with you Stiles and Lydia all together" She tells me as we walk to the class
We enter and we sit next to each other.
The room starts to fill with students. Lydia and Stiles walk in and sit behind us.
I hear Malia's phone vibrate in her pocket, she get's it out to see the notification.
It's her dictionary app, telling her the word of the day. I also had the same application, I downloaded it to start studying for my English literature finals, probably so did she. I read the definition in her screen
Dispair: de•spair/ 1. The complete loss or absence of hope
How wonderful, I think to myself. Malia narrows her eyebrows after reading the definition and then puts the phone away.
-"Hey any luck with the last two coyotes?" Lydia asks both Malia and I
-"No, no weird supernatural scents" I answer
Stiles thinks for a few seconds and then turns to look at us and says
"Maybe they are here, but what if you both can't catch the scent between to many people walking in the hallways..." But Stiles is interrupted in the middle of his sentence when the teacher walks in
The bell rings after she steps in the classroom, we all sit correctly and wait for the instructions.
She's about to say something when Katherine walks faslty in the room. Malia turns to look at her... actually all the class is.
-"Hello Ms...?" The teacher asks
-"Lancaster" Katherine completes
-"Ms Lancaster, you are late" Mrs. Rodriguez says
-"I know, I'm sorry, I couldn't find the classroom" she apologizes
-"Are you new here?" Mrs. Rodriguez asks
-"Yes, just transferred a couple of days ago" Katherine says
