A/N: It took everything in me not to add pilots to the chapter title. I am trash. |-/

Another A/N: I lost another friend today. We were not the closest, I'll admit it. But he was such an important person. I can't express how much I adore him. He was hit by a drunk driver that was going almost 100 km over the limit. It hurts me so much more cause I worked with his little sister. I can't imagine what she is going through because I can't imagine a life without my brother. He was the nicest guy. He even helped me find one of my classes when I was a freshman in high school. I'll never forget his kind spirit and lovely smile. Ever. That being said, I would love it if you guys made me a promise to STAY SAFE. Never put yourselves in a position where you are in a drunk driving situation. Whether you're the driver, or the driver that you're in a car with is intoxicated. Please. The last thing this world needs is another life taken WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too soon. Stay safe and take care of one another. I care about you and appreciate you, I fucking swear to that okay? That is all.

Joey had just finished exam week at school while I on the other hand, still had a month left of school. It sucked, but I didn't have to actually go to school so I couldn't really complain.

So yeah, things were going pretty great. Aside from the other night when Billie Joe called me. I just stared at the phone in shock. I didn't know what he wanted and I didn't know what I would even say.

He left a voicemail. It took me a while to actually bring myself to listen to it only to be greeted with his heavy breathing, a slight stutter, and then him saying "forget it" and hanging up. It kept bothering me even though it shouldn't. Whatever we were, was done for quite some time now. I'm with Joey, someone who is actually serious about me. And here I was out at the beach with him while thinking about my stupid teacher.

"Mel? Everything okay?" Joey asked, snapping his fingers in front of me.

"Oh god uhm, sorry Joey." I chuckled.

"Anything on your mind babe?" he asked, taking my hand in his.

"Just thinking about school, I'm kinda stressed cause it's my last month and well I haven't applied to college yet" It wasn't a total lie. I had been stressed about that recently. Although I am very trusting with Joey, there was no way I could tell him about my affair with Mr Armstrong.

He let go of my hand and wrapped his arm around my shoulder pulling me closer to him and kissed my cheek. "Sorry to hear about that Mel. But I think taking a year off from school and maybe working a full time job would be a good idea. That way you're not rushing yourself into something you might not want to actually do."

I smiled softly at him. "Thanks Joey, you have a way with words"

He smiled down at me and leaned in to kiss me. I cupped his cheek and pulled him slightly closer to me. His arm moved down to wrap around my waist and I couldn't help it by biting down softly on his lower lip. A groan escaped his lips and that was the moment we remembered we were out in public. I pulled away from him shyly and he just shook his head laughing at me.

"The things you do to me Mel, I can't believe it." he laughed, making me laugh too.

"Are you doing anything tonight?" he asked.

"No, not that I know of. Why?"

"Do you want to come over for dinner tonight? I'd love for you to meet my family." he blushed. It was so cute.

"I'd love to" I smiled making his eyes light up.

"Great, see you at seven?" he asked.

"Of course babe" I tested out the word, he seemed to really like it cause he leaned in and kissed me softly.

. . .

I let aunt Evelyn know that I was going to Joey's for dinner. She smiled and thought that was a lovely idea and told me to let his parents know that she says hi. She on the other hand had a date tonight. I think she said his name was Jared?

I put on a black tank top with a red long sleeved flannel and black skinny jeans that didn't have rips in them. I touched up my makeup and fixed my hair and was ready to go.

. . .

I pulled up to Joey's house and was sweating profusely. I wiped it away with wipes I had in my purse. I was terrified. I seriously care about my reputation with my friends' parents. To the point that it hurts. Especially if I have a boyfriend. I like to think that Joey is my boyfriend. Considering he's one of the first guys' that wants me to meet his parents.

I knocked on the door hesitantly. After a while, it was kind of funny (in a sick, crazy way) that  who was to answer the door, was the last person I was expecting.

"Well hello again, Melina. Long time, no see."

God dammit, Billie Joe Armstrong.

. . .

A/N: Well fuck, hello again so soon.

What do you think? Was this chapter awful? I sure thought it was. CAUSE IT WAS SO SHORT, DAMN.

I wanted to update asap cause your girl got tickets to see Green Day courtesy of her best guy friend (who she may or may have not finally kissed after a long few years).

ANYWAY, let me know how this chapter was. Your comments seriously make me so fucking happy. It kinda makes me feel like you guys are my best friends ever. So thank you. So fucking much. I love you darlings <3
