Chapter 10~The Journey from the tower

    "Hmmm...Mable." Gideon muttered as he sat up and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes.

    "Morning Gid." Pacifica said, sidetracked with a poster she was holding in her hands. A closer look showed Gideon that it was the schedule for the tent of telepathy.

    "Mable and Dipper are doing a show tomorrow." Pacifica said, raising her head from the poster to look at Gideon. "Do you want to go? Ye or ne?"

    "Yeah, that sounds cool." Gideon said, attempting to keep his voice cool, but failing miserably. Pacifica smiled as she took another look at the poster, this time focusing on the picture of the twins. They looked so different in real life. For instance, Dipper had a stone hard scowl and Mabel had a sparkle in her eye everything someone talked, or did anything in general.

    "Well, we should probably get back to the mystery shack first." Pacifica said, peering over the side of the water tower. Gideon rubbed his eyes, for the first time realizing they were still on the water tower.

    "Huh." He muttered as he stared off into the distance.

     "Come on." Pacifica said, crawling to the other side of the tower. "I was looking for a way down earlier and I found a ladder leading to the platform." She said as she swung her leg down and started to climb down. "Coming?" She asked when her eyes were level with the top of the roof. Gideon then chuckled and crawled across the roof, following after Pacifica as she climbed down.

    "Wait a minute." Gideon whispered as he saw something on the railing across from the ladder. "Is that?" He started.

    "Your vest!" Pacifica shouted, smiling as she picked up Gideon's clean vest from the railing and twirled around.

    "She cleaned it." Gideon whispered as he watched Pacifica dance around the tower, carrying his spotless vest. Gideon smiled as he thought about Mable. She really was not what he had been expecting of a Northwest. He then blushed as he realized he was thinking about her again.

    "Aww Gideon, your looking a little red there." Pacifica teased as she came up to him and handed him his vest.

    "Shut up Cifica." Gideon chuckled as he slipped his arms through the sleeves. "Well, let's go." He said as he walked towards the ladder that led down to the ground.

     "Wow, look who's taking charge." Pacifica said, crossing her arms and staring at Gideon, a skeptical look on her face. Gideon rolled his eyes, and climbed down the ladder. Pacifica waited until Gideon was all the way down to start climbing. "Now don't be looking up my skirt!" Pacifica shouted down at Gideon, and she was glad to see that he stumbled and blushed. As Pacifica reached the bottom, she could see that Gideon had sat on a rock and covered his face. Pacifica smirked as she walked up to him and tucked her hair behind her ear.

    "You are just, the worst." Gideon said, voice muffled through his hands. Pacifica chuckled as she stood crossarmed, staring at her friend.

    "Are you done being a cry baby yet? Grunkle Fords probably worried sick by now." As Pacifica said this, Gideon jumped up and grabbed Pacifica's hand, pulling her towards the path to the mystery shack. Now it was Pacifica's turn to blush, pulling her hand from his grip and stepping back.

    "Have you no decency!?" Pacifica exclaimed, blushing furiously as Gideon stared at her, mouth open in confusion.

    "What are you talking about?" Gideon asked, crossing his arms and bringing himself up to his full height, which was quite a lot taller than Pacifica. "You do that to me all the time."

     "That's different." Pacifica countered, blushing harder. Gideon raised his eyebrow as she stuttered to find the right words, eventually giving up and turning her head towards the mystery shack. "We should head towards the mystery shack. We do have a visit to the tent of telepathy to plan." She said as she beckoned for Gideon to follow and started walking to the mystery shack. Gideon scoffed as he looked after her, shaking his head and following after.

    "Girls."

Sorry about the length of this one but I'm using it for character development and I thought it would be cute so...here it is!
