"Mom, I can't do this anymore! I'm gonna have Aurellie and be a single mom!" I cried, as my mom tried to calm me down.

She sighed and raised my chin. "Don't say that. Jace will come around and understand. You've been through a lot, honey."

"Yeah, but he shouldn't have to deal with my shit all the time. Every time these idiots call to scare me, I run to him for comfort but he can only take so much."

She nodded. "So you think he reached his breaking point?" She asked as I looked down at my baby bump.

"Well...I guess. I feel sorry for him. What I'm doing isn't fair, but I can't help it." I said as I calmed down.

"Okay, but you need people to support you and if he can't be strong for you when you can't be strong for yourself then I'm not sure what your relationship is." She said, as I was awoken by her words.

I took a deep breathe. "You know, you're right. You're absolutely right."

She gave me a confused look. "Am I? I don't think I've ever been right in any of our chats, Carolyn." She laughed.

I smiled. "But, you are now, so congratulations!"

"Why do I feel like you're joking?" She asked with a smile.

"I don't know. I'm not joking, but that doesn't matter." I stood up. "I need to call Jace and get my baby's stuff over here. I'm done with him." I said, grabbing the phone.

"Are you sure you want to do this? He is still your baby's father." She said, hesitantly.

"Yes, it has to be done. I'm tired of his shit." I said, and left the room.

"What do you mean we're over?" Jace shouted through the phone as chills ran down my spine.

"You heard me. Send my baby's stuff over here!"

"This is my child too, just so you're aware!"

"I could care less. You're pathetic." I yelled as tears ran down my cheeks.

I was mad, sad, frustrated. I felt like a hot volcano, ready to erupt.

"And you're delusional. These pregnancy hormones are really taking a toll on you."

"Shut the hell up. You're causing this and if you won't send the stuff, I'll come get it!" I said, as I ended the call and threw the phone on the floor .

Jace doesn't understand how much pain he has caused me.
