Triangle (Lucaya and Riarkle Fanfic)

Chapter Fifteen

       Riley tossed her bag on to the chair right inside the door. "Whats so important I was about to go to Topangas with my friends." Riley said looking at her family. Her friends went ahead to Topangas hoping she would come.
       "You can go as soon as we tell you some....news." Topanga said looking at Cory who was on the edge of tears. He is never on the edge of tears. "Um okay." Riley said slowly. Slowly sitting down. "Okay im just gonna say it." Cory started. Riley looked at him. "Eric. Your uncle, Eric." Cory said "Yeah what about him?" Riley asked in a scared and worried tone. "Eric. Eric died. I-In a plane crash. You may now go to Topangas." Cory said wanting Riley out of the house.
      They could see it. They could see her breaking. Looking straight in her eyes they saw pain and sorrow. Riley was frozen. Frozen in her chair when she slowly stood up grabbing her bag and left to Topangas. She wanted to get out. She needed to get out. She left to be with her friends. Hoping to ignore the pain and depression she was feeling.
      Riley walked into Topangas in a daze. Her friends looked at her and then to eachother worried.
      "Riles?" Maya said standing up looking at Riley. Riley just sat down. She sat straight back for one or two minutes before Farkle snapped her out of it. "Riley? Ri? Riley? EARTH TO RILEY!!" Farkle said. Riley jumped as if he had woken her from a deep sleep.
      "Oh hey Farkle. Hey guys." She said not in a Riley way but a really upset and hurt way. As if she was disappointed to see them but honestly she was so happy.
      "Whats the matter with you?" Lucas said concerned like all of the others. Riley looked down "Oh nothing. It Its nothing." she lied. It was a bad lie. Farkle sat down next to her. "Thats the second time today you lied to us." Farkle said looking at Riley.
      Riley didnt look up. She was starting to cry and didnt want them to see. They saw anyways.
      "Riles. Why are you crying? What happened?" Maya said. Riley ignored her. Farkle looked at her trying to understand "She broke." he said all of a sudden. Everyone except Riley looked at him. "Something bad happened and that was it. Shes broken." Farkle said. It made sense. He hugged her. At this point everyone wanted them together. He lifted her chin and wiped away her tears. "Now, whats the matter?" Farkle said.
      Riley sat back. "Eric." is all she said. Everyone was confused. "You love Eric." Maya said. "Exactly my point. He was on his way to a meeting in another country and his plane crashed. No one survived." Riley said looking down still crying. Everyone came over and hugged her. They felt so bad.
      Riley needed Farkle. She wanted him to kiss her but knew he wouldnt because everyone was around. When Lucas kissed Maya Farkle looked at Riley. He kissed her. It was like their first kiss unexpected and in a vulnerable situation. Riley just hugged him and held on tight while bawling her eyes out.
      Shawn and Topanga walked in and see the group with Riley. Riley looked up. "Hey mom. Hey Shawn." she said with a few sniffles and wiping away her tears.
      They just smiled at her. You could tell they were wanting to cry but didnt because of all of the kids.
      She stood up still wiping away tears and sniffling. "Hows dad?" Riley asked. "Well hes been better." Shawn said making the group smile. "I mean is he okay?" Riley asked seriously. "Yes. He will be. The real question is are you okay. You and Eric were closer than Cory and Eric." Shawn said making everyone giggle. Riley looked at her friends "With these guys. I will be just fine, eventually." Riley said obviously trying not to cry again.
      Farkle came up and hugged her and kissed her on the head. Topanga and Shawn looked at them confused. "Are you.." Topanga said "..together?" Shawn finished. They looked at each other and stepped away. "Oh um..." Farkle said looking at Riley. Riley looked at everyone who was smiling and nodding. Riley smiled and grabbed Farkles hand "Yes we are." she said he looked at her shocked but went with it.
       Farkle and Riley back together. Cory walked in and saw Farkle and Riley holding hands "Hey guys.." he said hesitant. They realeased immediately "I dont care." Cory said and they went back to holding hands. "Now her" Cory said pointing to Maya. He walked up to Lucas "Shes my other daughter." He said. Maya and Riley smiled at eachother. Lucas kissed Maya on the cheek and Cory cringed and everyone laughed.
      "How ya doin dad?" Riley asked. Cory looked at her. "Im getting there." He said.
      Cory left and Shawn and Topanga followed. Everyone eventually left Topangas waiting for tomorrow.
