It's been ten years. Ten years and I still haven't forgotten about my first love. And I won't ever forget.

"Babe, wheres the car keys? Roger and I are gonna chill at the bar." My fiancé Tanner asked. I looked up and pointed to the little bowl on the kitchen counter.

He smiled and kissed me on the cheek. "Love ya. Oh, and can you wash my jersey for the Super Bowl?"

"Sure, I'll just wash everything else because I know you'll forget." I giggled, standing up and stretching out like my cat Mitch.

"You're the best. See you later baby."

"Bye, love you."

He smiled and waved as he left the house, and when the door shut, I sighed.

"I love him, I love him, I love him," I repeated in my head as I began to wash clothes.

Frank was gone. He was no longer mine.

And there was nothing I could do to change that.

~Frank's Point of View~

It's been ten years. Ten years and I still haven't forgotten about my first love. And I won't ever forget.

I watched as my fiancée Jamia straightened her hair and did her makeup. "Well, you just gonna stare or get ready too, Frank?"

I giggled. "I'd rather stare at you, but I suppose I'll put something nice on."

I walked to the closet full of clothes and picked out a simple black button-up dress shirt and dark jeans. Me and Jamia were going do the bar to meet some friends of ours.

"Frankenstein, you ready?" I heard Jamia ask from the bathroom.

"Oh I'm there, baby. Lets go."

I took her small hand into mine and exited the house. We got inside the car but she quickly stopped everything because she forgot her wallet.

As she ran inside to go get it, I rested my head on the window and sighed, starting the car.

"I love her, I love her, I love her" I repeated in my head, tapping the steering wheel.

Evelyn was gone. She was no longer mine.

And there was nothing I could do to change that.
