Beca's POV
I somewhat like my job. I'm not a music producer like I had wanted to become, but I'm a DJ, and that's pretty cool. Tonight I'm playing music at a middle school dance.
Wonderful. I had to create a special playlist without cursing just for tonight.
I decided to wear my plaid skirt and black top. I straitened my hair and put on a few bracelets before looking in the mirror to do my makeup.
When I got to the school, I set up my equipment and put a glow-stick around my neck as they dimmed the lights.
I noticed a redhead standing against the back wall, but I couldn't see her face. She must be a chaperone, poor girl. Of course, my job here was no better. Her hair was in a pony tail, but that was all I could see. She was talking to another girl. I stared at her for a while before redirecting my attention to my job.
"Hi can I request a song?" The voice startled me. It was the girl that was talking to the redhead.
"Sure, what song?" I said, trying to act like she hadn't just scared the crap out of me.
"Titanium!" She said. God, that song brought back memories of Chloe and I singing in the shower.
"Of course, I'll play it next." I said.
Chloe's POV
Ella came skipping over.
"I requested Titanium for you!" She said.
"Thank you. I love that song and I haven't heard it in forever!" I responded.
It began to play, and I started to kind of dance a little in place.
Beca's POV
I think the redhead liked Titanium. I could see her dancing a little when I played it. She was a cute dancer.
The dance lasted for three hours, and I never played the same song twice. After everyone left, the lights turned on and I began to pack up my things.
Chloe's POV
"Miss Beale!" I heard the principal call my name.
"Yes?" I asked.
"Here, can you go pay the DJ? I have to go." He said, handing me a check.
I took the check and went towards the DJ who was packing up her stuff.
"Excuse me." I said.
She looked up and I instantly recognized her. I would never forget her. It was Beca Mitchell.
"Chloe!" She yelled when she saw me.
I guess she hadn't forgotten me either.
"Beca!" I said. "How are you?"
"Great! How about you?" She said.
"Pretty good!" I said.
"Is that a baby bump I see?" She asked looking at my stomach. I looked down at it and turned bright red.
"Oh my God, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to be rude." Beca said. Maybe I should take a pregnancy test.
"No, Beca, it's fine. If I'm being completely honest, I've been trying to deny the fact that I could be pregnant." I said.
"Well, are you?" She asked.
"I haven't taken a test yet." I admitted.
"Chloe, that's it. Do you live near here?" She asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"We're driving to the store, then going to your house and you are going to take a pregnancy test." Beca said.
"What?" I said in amazement. Beca hadn't changed at all. She's still stubborn.
"You heard me." She said.
