Beca's POV
I can't believe it. The redhead standing in the back was Chloe. I forgot how pretty she was.
We drove to CVS and went inside. We grabbed a box of pregnancy tests, checked out, and went to Chloe's house. She lived in a cute house on a cute street. We went inside, and I handed her the box. I noticed her hands were shaking.
"What's wrong?" I asked her.
"I don't know, I'm just really scared." She replied.
"Don't be." I assured her.
She went into the bathroom and came out a few minutes later holding the test in her hand.
"I'm pregnant?!" She said.
Chloe's POV
I was pregnant. What was I supposed to do? I had no idea what to think. It was all terrifying. I had completely forgotten about Beca who was standing in front of me, telling me how exciting this was.
"What do I do?" I asked her.
"I don't know." She replied.
"I can't do this on my own." I said.
"Oh, I have an idea! I can help you!" She said.
"Are you really willing to do that?"
"Of course! You have no idea how much I missed you. I will treat that little munchkin like my own." She said poking at my stomach.
"Thank you. Wait, where do you live?" I asked her. I lived in Rhode Island. It was a small state, sure, but after college I just wanted to get away from it all.
"Springfield, Massachusetts." She said.
"That's almost two hours away!" I said. "Can you move here?"
"I don't know, am I welcome here?"
"Yes! Of course you are!"
Beca and I sat on the couch and talked for a while about when she was going to move and what was going on in her life.
"So, who's the father?" She asked.
It finally hit me. Oscar. How was I going to tell him?
"Oh no." Was all I could say.
"Who is it, Chlo?" She asked again.
"The science teacher at my school." I finally answered.
"Oh my God." She said.
We decided to put the pregnancy test in a plastic bag and put it in his mailbox at school.
