***Flashback***

Zinnia's POV●

"Oofffff!" I groaned. Which elephant decided to bestow its presence on top of me ungracefully might i add this early in the bloody morning!

"Morning sunshine! Get your ass up and in the shower pronto! We are heading to Rosa's for breakfast." Colton informed me.

My mouth started watering as i thought about the food. Oh God.

"We want to go for breakfast not dinner Zi! Hurry up before i drag you out of the house looking like a wet raccoon!" He threatened.

I shot up in bed eyes wide and bolted to the bathroom. My brother follows through with his threats and he has dragged me out that way before. Hello kitty pajamas and all. I shuddered at that memory.

I contemplated changing my identity completely and moving to the other corner of the world in embarrassment.

Dramatic i know. Although i'm not a big fan of Hello Kitty, i simply wore them because they were hella comfortable, embarrassing or not.

I bet all of you have that one pair(or more) of those kind of comfortable clothes that you can't get rid off. Wearing them can sometimes automatically make your day better.

I can lounge around in those comfort clothes all day without a care in the world.

I took a quick shower not wanting my brother to barge into my room again and drop more threats. Trust me, he has a a lot of those! Like a huge ass vault with the title 'Threats for Zi 101'

I decided on a pair of dark wash skinny jeans and a red flowy blouse. I opted for flip flops since we were only going out for breakfast and it was too early for me to function properly and dress up.

I didn't even bother with make up. I unplugged my phone from the charger and skipped down the stairs knowing very well that they were waiting for me.

I guessed right because they were. I wished them good morning and we were out of the house. We decided to all hop in one car with Colton being the driver and my dad called shotgun before i could make a dash for it.

So, being the good daughter that i am, i gave up the seat and sat at the back with mom.

Colton started the engine and we headed off to the cafe. Once we walked in the cafe, Marco greeted us with a chirpy smile and lead us to a table at the corner that was big enough for the four of us.

We didn't have to order because Marco knew what we always ordered. When my parents were staying here, we would always come here during the weekends for breakfast and ordered the same thing so it became our regular thing.

Our food came soon after seeing as it is still pretty early and people come later on. We hungrily dug into our food in silence. It wasn't an awkward one. It was rather comfortable.

Once we were done, dad paid the bill and we headed out but not before packing some pastries to have in the evening with coffee. Once that was done, we headed to the car and drove home while singing to songs on the radio. Dad rolled his eyes at us. I loved this carefree feeling.

We reached home shortly. I got out of the car, walked inside the house and trudged up the stairs to my room.

The minute i entered, my phone rang. I pulled it out of my pocket and Zach's name lit up on the screen. I smiled.
