***Still a flashback***

●Zinnia's POV●

Zach, Jess, Jake, Leo and I have decided to hang out today since Zach and Leo have never met yet. Jake came over to my house yesterday with Leo to hang out. Leo apparently asked Jake to call me and ask whether they could hang out with me.

Since I wasn't really doing anything and just finished talking to Zach on the phone, I agreed. We have met up with each other quite a few times these past few days. I have gotten to know Leo a lot. Mostly, it was Leo and I conversing with Jake lounging around doing God knows what.

Colton  met Leo when they came over. He didn't seem too keen about Leo. Something about him being evasive when Colton was around but he seemed eager to meet me. I laughed at Colton. He can be so overprotective sometimes. He does this to all my guy friends so I was used to it.

I briefly explained about Leo's situation and how he wanted to hang out because it was helping him cheer up. Colton nodded in understanding and let out a sigh of relief.

Fast forward to today, Jess was going to come on her own to a cafe in town and meet up with us there. Zach decided to pick me up since he hasn't seen me in a few days and missed me although we talked every single day.

He can be really cute sometimes like a teddy bear. My teddy bear. I smiled at the thought and was busy day dreaming when I heard Zach downstairs talking to Colton.

My brother was about to leave the house as well to meet up with his friends in town. I walked down the stairs quickly trying to keep my composure. I still get butterflies when I'm around him. It never gets old.

Both the boys turned to look at me when I reached the last step. Zach looked at me with a full blown smile and walked towards me, enveloping me in a hug. I relaxed in his arms breathing in his scent. It sounds really weird but it calms me down.

"Hey love. You're looking gorgeous as always. I missed having you in my arms." He whispered in my ear. I blushed. "I missed you so much too sparkly." I whispered back.

We finally broke apart from each other when Colton cleared his throat looking anywhere but at us. I walked over to him and gave him a hug as well. He smiled and returned the hug, kissing me on my forehead. He does that every time.

"Shall we leave?" He looked down at me. I nodded my head and all three of us walked out of the house. Once Zach was on the main road, he started talking well, more like ranting about how his little sister has been forcing him to play dress up.

She even painted his nails hot pink. She made him play with barbie dolls along with her. I laughed imagining the scene in my head. Damn, I would definitely pay to see that. With a bag of caramel popcorn too.

"Don't laugh Zi. It's not funny." He groaned and pouted childishly. Since it was a red light, I took the opportunity to kiss his pouted lips. When I pulled away, he was grinning as though he won a lottery. I smirked.

When the traffic light turned green, he sped off to the cafe seeing as everyone was already there. We parked the car and walked in to the cafe quickly spotting Jess waving her hands around wildly trying to catch our attention. Zach chuckled and we walked towards her.

Jake sat in between Jess and Leo. Zach and I shared a look and smirked at each other. My two best friends need to get together soon and right now they both looked way too happy sitting next to each other. Leo looked relieved and smiled brightly when he saw us, or rather me, since he doesn't know Zach yet.
