***Still a flashback***

Zinnia's POV●

There is only about a week plus left of summer. Jess and I have gone shopping for clothes and stationery during the weekend. Zach and I are going out for dinner today.

Jake has been busy again with family matters. Leo has decided to go back home because he said something about missing his parents and how they needed him.

I'm abit sad that he wouldn't be joining us for our senior year in high school. After the day when I announced Zach and I becoming an official couple, I met up with Leo and Jake a few days later at Jake's house.

I finally got the chance to meet Jake's parents after quite sometime. Jake seemed his usual self although he did look worried for Leo.

Leo acted pretty normal with me and he talked about his childhood and all the crazy things he used to do when he was a kid. I confronted Jake as I was leaving about his worries regarding Leo.

Jake said that he is reverting back to his old self again. When I asked the reason, all he said was that it had something to do with Leo's family and the girl who supposedly liked Leo had rejected him without a reason.

Something about not being able to take him as anything more than a friend. I was pretty pissed because as per what Jake and Leo said about her, she actually seemed to like him.

That had taken a toll on Leo and all he has been doing is staying cooped up in his room. Looking at this, the adults have decided that it would be best for him to return home as he would be seeing his therapist again.

I really hope that would help him and he wouldn't hurt himself. None of the adults are aware about the girl and Leo plans to keep it that way. Both the boys refuse to tell any of us her name because they just want to close this chapter once and for all.

I agreed and decided to drop the subject. I didn't ask Leo anything because I never want him to feel as though he isn't good enough.

Leo is leaving town today so that he can prepare for his senior year as well. Zach had an event to attend today so he said his goodbyes yesterday itself.

I was going to go with him but I needed to help Colton with cleaning the house and just hanging out in general because I know that once he leaves for university, I would hardly see him.

Zach being the sweet boyfriend he is, will text me everyday or call me. He would wish me good morning and good night.

If I'm not over at his house, he would come over to mine. Colton is smart enough to give us privacy and I love him for that.

It is going to be 12 noon soon, so I decided to head towards Jake's house to bid Leo goodbye. Jess had gone in the morning because she is still busy with the last touches of her room so that she can finish her room today in the afternoon.

So far, it looks really good. I decided on a pair of maroon leggings, a black crop top and my black vans. I grabbed my phone and other necessary stuff and headed out.

Colton is still asleep as usual so there wouldn't be any point to wake him up to tell him that I wouldn't be home. I had already told him the last night before going to bed.

Yesterday, mom and dad finally got the chance to Skype with us. We talked for a few hours before heading to bed. I texted Zach for awhile after that before sleep consumed me.
