Stay Gold

Prologue:
I lost my parents a while back. My older brother, Darry, takes care of me and my other two brothers Sodapop and Ponyboy.

Darry is a very muscular guy and he carries too much roofing when he works. Ask anyone.

Sodapop is a dropout. He now works at a DX with Steve Randle. If you ask a girl from his grade they will say that he is the cutest guy alive!

Ponyboy is my twin. We both skipped a grade and we are only 14 in high school. We don't see each other much at school but at home we are always fooling around with the gang.

We are a whole bunch of Greasers you could say. Well... everyone calls us Greasers. Even we call ourselves Graesers. We all hang out together all the time and when I say we I mean me and my brothers, Steve Randle, Dally Winston, Johnny Cade, and Two-Bit Matthews.

Steve is Soda's best friend. They have always been together and always will be.

Dally is always getting into trouble. I kind of look up to him for being his own person.

Johnny is kind of quiet because of his past. His parents don't like him and he was beaten up by some Socs named Bob. He and Ponyboy are really good friends.

Then there is Two-Bit. You can tell by the name he cracks lots of jokes. No matter what someone says he makes a joke about it. When I'm feeling down he is always there and makes a joke to cheer me up.

So now that you know about everybody in the gang, let's look into my world.
