Isamariá
Girl I must warn you
I sense something strange in my mind
Situation is serious
Let's cure it 'cause we're running out of time
Mm mm tell 'em Rick it's all so beautiful
Relationships they seem from the start
Yeah mm mm it's all so deadly
When love is not together from the heart
Mm mm check it out
I sang along to Bell Biv Devoe as I snapped my fingers and danced along with Jada to the beat. Music, dancing, and food was exactly what my Friday nights consisted of. On this day every week, everyone who lived in this building got together and we had a huge party. This was the best part of the week because I could enjoy myself with my best friend without worrying about anything else. It was perfect.
Everyone cheered as the girls surrounded by the crowds of people danced around and moved their hips to the beat.
"See, all you needed was a good party." Jada smiled. "I bet George is sitting on the couch with the TV on full blast."
We both laughed at her comment. When it came to George, she understood the situation completely. It felt good knowing that I could vent to Jada about my problems at home.
"That's true," I agreed with her.
"Hey, you wanna head out now?" She inquired. "It's getting to be super late."
"Indeed." I said. "Let's dip out."
Usually after we got our partying in, Jada and I would go to the store and get our favorite snacks and then take the subway to Manhattan. Once we got there, we would sneak into the Gated Community and sit on people's roofs while we talked the night away.
And, that's exactly what we did. After we jumped on the subway, we toasted our Arizona drinks and took a good sip. Once we arrived to Manhattan, we made our way out of the subway station and began our journey to the gated community.
"I love Manhattan." Jada said. "In my opinion, it's the best place to be in New York. I can only imagine how many celebrities live here."
"I think the Bronx is the best place in New York." I smiled. "That's where most of the cool people are."
She stiffled a laugh and gave me a funny look. "Okay, Isa."
When we got to the gates, we swiftly climbed them and jumped down on the ground. We admired all of the beautiful mansions sitting around us, and we picked the perfect house to chill on.
We quietly ran to the mansion that we picked for tonight, and Jada made sure that all of the lights were off. Then, we climbed on the SUV parked in their driveway and made our way up on the roof.
Jada and I got comfortable on the highest spot of the roof; We could see all of the stunning mansions from our point of view. It was a beautiful view, too.
"One day, I'm going to live here." Jada said. "I'm going to live in that house."
She pointed out the biggest mansion in the community, which happened to be Robert Valdez's mansion. He had a line of various businesses here in New York City, and you could say they made him quite rich. His wife was a famous fashion designer and had her own clothing line called 'Sparkle.' It was only one of the biggest lines of clothing for women, and I'm sure that brought in millions to the Valdez palace. Together, Robert and his wife were a power couple.
