It was Thursday morning, and I was chilling in the hallway with Justin and Tony.

"Who's the cutest girl in the group?" Tony asked. "I say it's a tie between Isa and Mary."

"Isa." I said.

"Dude, that's because you like her." Justin laughed.

"What? No I don't." I shook my head.

"Yeah, you do." He said. "Mary is the cutest, Isa has second place."

"Yeah, right." I scoffed.

"What are y'all doing this weekend?" Tony asked. "Maybe we can hit up McDonald's then go to the Parking lot with the girls."

"Sounds good." I nodded.

The front doors to the school opened, and all of us looked over our shoulders to see Mary and Rosa walk in. Mary waved, and then Isamariá walked in.

My eyes widened. She had on a blue cropped top, with a black leather jacket, some black skinny jeans and her all-stars. Her curly hair was pulled up into a ponytail, which fell down to help back, and she had on hoop earrings. She looked good. Really good.

"Woah, what the hell happened to Isa?" Justin asked.

The girls walked over to us and Mary smiled. "Tada! I gave Isa a makeover."

"I bet your stomach is cold." I winked at Isa.

"Yeah, it is." She laughed.

"But, you look good." Tony said.

"Really good." Justin nodded.

"Thanks guys." Isa smiled.

The bell rang, indicating it was time to get to homeroom. I groaned, not wanting to leave.

"So... I'll see you at lunch." Isa smiled, then walked off.

She walked off, with Rosa and Mary by her side. I watched her, and she turned and waved, then continued going.

"You like her, bro." Justin patted me on my shoulder, then walked off.

"Yo, let's go to class." Tony suggested.

I nodded and we made our way to homeroom. Once we arrived to Mr. Coleman's class, Tony and I walked in and sat down in the back.

Girls were gossiping with each other, and the guys were going on about which girls they were going to get with by the end of the week. It was never anything new at Walton High..... But, that all changed at lunch.

I was just sitting at the table, having a conversation with Tony, Justin, Mary, Ace, Emma, and Rosa, when a roar of laughter burst out in the lunchroom. We all looked over, and I saw a beat up looking Rebecca standing in the middle of the lunchroom.

She had a black eye, her face had scratches on it, and her skin was a bright red. Her hair was pulled back into a messy ponytail, and she just looked a mess. Isa ran up to her, and I saw her talking to her, and then Rebecca began crying into Isa's shoulders.

People were laughing endlessly. I shook my head and went back to my conversation.

"I wonder what happened to her." Tony said. "She looks like she got knocked out twenty times."

"Man, you're not going to say anything to her?"Justin asked. "That's your ex girlfriend, man!"

"Am I supposed to care? No, I don't." I snarled.

And, I really didn't give a care. I felt no remorse for whatever happened to her. Matter of fact, she deserved it. And, I don't know why Isa was up there comforting her, Rebecca probably was using her also.
