Isamariá
I woke up in the middle of the night and saw that Andreson was sleeping. So, I quietly got out of bed and made my way back downstairs and into the small space. I appreciated how Andreson wanted me to be comfortable, but it was pretty risky.
I didn't want Lola to go bananas on me. If her and Robert were capable of starving me for almost a week, and keep me locked up in a small space, who knows what they could be capable of?
But, I was glad that Andreson found me. He fed me, let me take a shower, and offered me a comfortable place to sleep. I felt much better, and that wasn't just because I saw him.
Anyways, later on in the day Lola came downstairs and told me to scrub the floors since I couldn't do it yesterday. So, I went to scrub the floors. Afterwards, She threw me back downstairs. But, before she left I had a question.
"When are you going to let me see my parents?" I asked her.
"Why would I let you do that?" She asked me.
"Well, I have a family, too." I said. "You could get arrested for keeping me down here and nearly killing me."
"I'll think about it." She snarled as she walked upstairs.
So, I spent almost seven long hours in this small space. That was, until she came back downstairs. She opened the door and I climbed out.
"I'm letting you go." She said. "If I hear one word about this to the Police, I'm going to hurt you, little girl."
"Thanks."
"And, you better not let my son see you walk out of this house. You better not come anywhere near him, and don't tell him."
"Okay."
I walked upstairs and left the mansion. I began walking to the gates of the community. It took me a while, but I made it. I ran all the way to the subway station. Luckily, I had a little money to pay my way home. Once I reached the Bronx, I began walking back to the projects.
Once I got home, I rushed up the stairs and walked inside. The place was a mess- Clothes and trash were all over the floor, dishes were pilled up in the sink, and the television was messed up.
"Woah." I said as I closed the door.
"Isa?" My momma asked as she walked into the living room. "Where were you?"
"I don't know.." I said.
"You don't know?" She raised an eyebrow.
"..No."
"Well, I'm glad you're okay." She said. "I have to get ready for work. Clean up this place, it's a mess."
I rolled my eyes and walked into the kitchen to start on the dishes. In the middle of washing them, momma left. Kaylani was sleeping or at daycare, and I hadn't seen George, yet. Anyways, after I was done cleaning the dishes, I dried them off and put them away.
I cleaned off the table, and the stove. Then, I swept the floors. I then walked into the living room, picking up all the trash and throwing it away. I threw all the clothes in the laundry basket so I could wash them. I then went and cleaned up my bedroom, then I washed the clothes.
Once I was done, I sighed and layed down. Suddenly, I heard the front door open. Thinking it was George, I rolled my eyes and rolled over, preparing to take a nap.
"Mrs. Johnson?" I heard a familiar voice say. It was Jada.
"Maybe she went to work." I heard Joshua say.
