It was Thursday and I didn't go to school, today. I knew it was risky getting caught by my dad, but I didn't care.
Anyways, the whole day I searched the Bronx and Manhattan for Isa. Unfortunately, I came up with nothing. I was really growing concerned, I mean, what if she was dead somewhere?
Thinking about it made me cringe my teeth.
After searching throughout Manhattan, I jumped in my car and made my way. The skies were getting dark, and I figured I would continue my search tomorrow. Even if that meant skipping school, again.
As I made my way home, I thought about why I spent the whole day searching for this girl. I mean, why did I, anyway? Thinking about it made me think that I cared about her. I guess I did.... But, I didn't mean for it to be that way. It just happened.
I mean, I don't care about anyone.. I guess Isa was an exception, though. No biggie.
I parked my car in the garage and got out, walking into my home.
"Andreson, why are you late for dinner?" Pops asked as I walked into the dining room and sat down.
"I was out."
We bowed our head and said grace. Afterwards, we began eating.
"Out Where?" He asked.
"Why would you care?" I snarled.
"Don't start with the attitude today." He growled. "I have better things to do than sit here and deal with this mess."
"Then, don't ask!" I exclaimed. "Nobody told you to get in my business, anyway."
He shook his head and the phone rang. I stood up and walked into the hall, then picked the phone up.
"Hello?"
"Sup, b?" Greg said. "Pops still got you locked up in the crib?"
"No, what's up?"
"We was all chilling, and Jay was babbling on about how he could rap better than you," Greg scoffed. "So, I was all 'b, you ain't better than Dre!' and, he wants to prove that he is. You down?"
"You know it." I smirked. "I'll roll up in there in the few."
"Alright, Ese." Greg said. "Don't let me down."
I hung up and walked into the dining room, grabbing my keys if of the table.
"I need you to grab the vacuum from downstairs." Pops said.
"I'll do it when I get back." I said as I walked out.
"Where are you going, honey?" Moms asked.
I ignored her and walked out of the front door. I went into the garage and jumped into my car, started it up then pulled off.
It took me about fifteen minutes to get from my house to King's apartment. Once I got there, I heard the loud music from outside. I parked the car and got out, rushing up the steps.
I walked inside and sat that Jay was already finished with him verse on 'Nuthin' but a 'G' Thang'
That was my favorite song, by the way.
So, once Snoop Dogg went at it, I went in.
Fallin' back on that ass with a hellafied gansta lean
Gettin' funky on the mic like an old batch of collard greens
It's the capital S, oh yes, I'm fresh, N double O P
