Grace send Frank a voice mail at 4am on the 31st October and he awoke just before 6 to listen to it and have the biggest smile of the year.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO FRANKENSTEIN
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU"

Frank bit his lip in excitement aaaannnndddd: *Please leave a message after the beep*

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO GRACIE
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU"

This was a tradition they have had for 8 years. They wouldn't answer their phone when it was 4 or 6 if they were up so it didn't spoil the tradition and it made them so happy and cry laughing every year.

This year is extra special because they are both 21. They loved that their birthdays were the same day and it was on Halloween.

They planned to meet up at 6pm, go on a dinner date and then meet up with some other friends.
Frank doesn't like alcohol so he was hesitant to even go out but with the support of Grace and the respect she has for his wellbeing, Grace made sure everyone knew their limits and she would not drink to make Frank feel less alone and anxious. Frank didn't know she put that in place, but she did. She loved Frank.

The night was a blast. They danced, they sang endless of kareoke songs and Frank even hooked up with Grace's male stripper in the back of the club. Not uncommon. Frank always gets the guy.

The bartender called last call so Frank and Grace left early to avoid people rushing out. They said their goodbyes, kissed the strippers and got in the car.
Grace loved to drive so she called shotgun and giggled like a five year old getting a lolly.
They shoot the volume up as 'Total eclipse of the heart' came on and they sang their parts of the song as rehearsed when they were kids.

Grace stopped at a red light but the drunk driver behind her was having a party of their own in the car. The guy did was speeding and didn't know that it was a red light.

Before they knew it, the song stopped, air bags popped out and their was ringing.

Grace came back from concousness and saw Frank. She slowly turned her head which was covered in blood.

"Frank?" It was barely a whisper as she couldn't get her words out.

"Frank!" She tried again but it wasn't much louder than before.

She tries again and this time she forced her voice to crack and blubber with tears streaming down. "FRANK"

He wasn't answering.

Grace's started to hear faded sirens get louder and closer by the second.
"Oh thank god. Help. Please hurry up" She thought to herself.
