Mamrie was already sitting at a table. Grace had text Mamrie before leaving and said that Hannah will be joining them. She didn't mind, Mamrie loved to meet new people and she told her about Hannah the night before through text.

Grace and Hannah walked in and instantly found the older woman by her laugh. She was flirting with some waiter and Grace knew it. They walked over and Grace's smile couldn't get any bigger.

"Mamrie! Leave the poor boy alone"

"Oh suck it, Grace"

"Mames, this is Hannah, Hannah, Mamrie"

"Heyyyy girl!"

"Heyy"

Hannah was more of an awkward person when meeting people for the first time but she gets comfortable ones a conversation is flowing. Mamrie, on the other hand, is always bubbly and happy around anyone and everyone.

They all agree on 3 bloody Marys and pizza. Dispite Grace's sensative stomach and Mamries vaganism, they go bat shit crazy on that cheese.

Mamrie and Hannah got on like they've known each other for years and they were catching up. Grace sat back on the chair as her smile grew the more the conversation between the two continued.

"Excuse me ladies, but when nature calls..."

"Just go for a shit, Grace"

They all laugh at Mamries comment for probably to long, but Mamrie can make anything that funny just by speaking.

Grace goes to the toilet and Hannah can't help but watch her walk away from over her shoulder. "You're wasting your feelings kid"

"What you taking about?"

"She's into dudes, she's got a boyfriend and they are pretty serious.  There's even been talks of marriage"

"Boy...boy....boyfriend?" Hannah develops an anxious stutter that made mamrie feel bad for her new found friend.

"She hasn't mentioned him?" Mamrie instantly wonders if Grace has been holding back information. As far as she knows, they are still loved up.

"No, I mean. We sort of....I assumed.....never mind. I don't like her like that anyway, we've only known each other for less than 48 hours"

"Oh come on, I've seen how you look at her when she's talking or walking away. I vertically saw your heart drop when she lent over you to get suger. All I'm saying is, don't fall into a hole of emtions that's hard to get out of"

"I appreciate your words of wisdom, but..."

"Wait, you sort of what?"

"What?"

"You started a sentence but then changed it..You sort of what?"

"Nothing. Like you said, she's got a boyfriend" Hannah lied straight through her teeth and instantly felt terrible. She didn't want to stir anything up for Grace,  that girl has been through enough without having a girl she's just met add drama.
"I don't fancy her" Hannah continued, hardly being able to finish her sentance. "I've just got out of a relationship, the last thing I'm looking for is for my heart to be stomped on"

"Grace told me Hannah, the break up was a year ago"

Shame and embarrassment covered Hannahs face. She really wanted to just move on. Tears filled Hannahs eyes but she brushed it off as Grace was coming back.

"Hey, what did I miss?"

Hannah turned to the wall to collect herself before interacting with yet another girl that she wants but can't have.
