Today was a Sunday, which meant a free day. So of course Lula wanted to spend some quality time with Jack but he was nowhere to be found, although his leather jacket was hanging on the coat rack, which meant he was home.

Entering Merritt's room once again in the hopes of finding him there, she took a quick glance around while Merritt himself was laying on his bed playing on his phone.

"Have you seen Jack anywhere?"

"I thought you're the one to know that. You are his girlfriend."

"You are seriously the king of not helping."

And with an eye roll, Lula went away.
"Where could he possibly be...." Lula muttered as she looked at the bathroom near their room. Of course he wasn't there. Although Lula definitely didn't mind sneaking a peek if he actually was there.

For what seemed like the twentieth tume that afternoon, Lula entered their bedroom. She opened those closet doors again, checked behind the desk again, and scanned the whole room again.

Now Lula was starting to get frustrated. He knew today was the day they could actually be together and he chooses to disappear? Nuh uh. Lula was going to flip when she actually does find him.

When she opened the door to get out, a loud air horn sound rang through.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" she screamed.

Then his familiar chuckle was heard from Danny's room.

"So THAT'S where you've been hiding?"

"I knew you wouldn't suspect Danny, so I chose his room. Guess my thoughts were right," he cheekily explained, barely able to contain his laugh.

"You cheeky bastard."

Lula had finally kinda got over Jack's whole scheme and were now just relaxing on the couch flipping through the channels, finally settling on MTV.

"Hey, do you wanna see a card trick? I don't do this one as often," Jack suddenly piped up, taking out a deck of cards from his pocket.

However, as he tried to fan out the cards, all 52 of them seem to be glued together.

"What the—"

It was that moment Lula decided to bring out his actual deck of beat up cards and wave it in front of his face while grinning like that creepy Cheshire Cat in the Alice in Wonderland movie.

"You should know by now to not pull a prank on me," Lula said while trying to calm down & lose her laugh, albeit miserably failing.

"You little..." Jack grumbled as he grabbed his cards and tossed the glued together deck on her lap.

It took her a good five minutes to calm down.
