I was sitting there at this restaurant talking to Kelton. He was a bit strange but nice none the less.

"How long have you been Mrs. Alsina?" He asked, sipping his drink.

I sighed at the thought. Speaking of being Mrs. Alsina, I hadn't even heard from my husband.

"About 5 years."

"How is the married life?"

I smiled. "Great. It's all that I have ever dreamed of."

He chuckled and nodded.

"Shit, I bet. Your husband almost killed my ass that day you brought him to sign those damn papers."

I frowned. What the hell was he talking about?

"What do you mean?"

He raised his brows and looked at me.

"You mean, he didn't tell you?"

I shook my head and waited for him to continue.

"Man, he broke my fucking jaw. Shit still ain't heal right."

My eyes widened and covered my mouth.

"Wow, I d--"

"Im'a break yo otha fuckin jaw, what da hell ya doin hea wit my lady."

I looked up to see August with his shades on. He looked very good but I could tell he was upset. Now was not the time to say anything, unless spoken to.

Kelton turned around and smiled a little at August.

"My man, was good?"

"Getcho ass up." August said.

Kelton licked his lips and turned to me.

"I will be --"

August grabbed his neck and jerked him out of the seat.

"I ain't tell you speak ta her, bring yo ass."

I was confused on what the hell was going on. Standing up, I grabbed August and turned him around.

"What is going on?" I asked him.

He looked at me then back at Kelton who was staring August. I looked between the both of them.

"I asked a question." I crossed my arms.

August cleared his throat and shook his head.

"Nothin' baybeh. Just need ta take care of some shit."

I rolled my eyes and looked at Kelton. He looked pissed but he was holding off.

"Go home ma, I'a be thea soon."

I jerked back and looked at him.

"What? No, I'm not going home. I want to know what is going on."

August sighed and shook his head, sticking his hands in his pockets.

"Maybe I should go." Kelton said, beginning to walk away.

I grabbed his arm and pushed him back to where he was.

"No, you two have something going on and I want to know what it is."

Kelton shrugged. "Just a misunderstanding, right Aug?"

He looked over at August with a small smile that seemed to piss August off even more.

"Right Aug? I mean life is to short to be acting this way, don't you think?" Kelton continued.
