Chapter 3

JUSTIN'S POV

"Bye Justin." Selena said making me lean away as she backed up her car and left within a matter of seconds.

I was left in the middle of the school parking lot, alone and lost in utter confusion.

I scratched my head and cringed at the fact that I just got rejected.
'No? Did she really just day no?' I thought to myself, repeating the past minute to myself over and over again.

"You know she's not going to be easy." I familiar voice shot from behind. I turned around to find Taylor across the parking lot, wearing a proud smirk on her face.

"What do you mean?" I asked puzzled.

"She's smart. Unlike all your other hoes. She's not gonna fall for your tricks."

I studied her expression closely for a second before speaking. "What did you tell her?!" I said sounding somewhat alarmed.

"Nothing but the truth." Taylor chuckled getting inside her car and leaving.

After Taylor left, I shook my head from all my thoughts and got in my car, quickly turning on the engine. 'Fuck it. Who cares? It's one girl. There are plenty of other girls. It's her lost.' I thought to myself, regaining the rest of my confidence.

I needed to relieve myself though. Before driving off, I took out my phone to send a text.

I'll be there in 10 ;)

Within 10 minutes I parked into the driveway.

Her parents weren't home. I smirked looking around, noticing the only cars around were hers and mine.

I checked my hair in the mirror and quickly got out making my way to her door and knocking. Seconds later, the door opened.

"Justin. You made it." Jacque greeted me, biting her lip.

"How could I miss out." I smirked as she took my hand and led me inside.

I sat down in her living room and she walked over to her kitchen opening the fridge.

"Want anything to drink? Water, soda, juice-"

"Nah." I said standing up and making my way towards her.

"Then what do you want?" She asked reluctantly, still looking inside her fridge.

I quietly and slowly walked up behind her and snaked my arms around her, leaning my head on her shoulder, ready to whisper in her ear. "I want you." I smirked.

She quickly closed her fridge and turned around so that we were face to face. I leaned in connecting our lips. She smiled within the kiss, putting both hands on the back of my head and deepened the kiss even more. I traced my tongue on her bottom lip and once was enough. She quickly opened up her mouth giving both our tongues enough room to battle. I slid my hands down to her legs signaling her to lift them up. She jumped and wrapped her legs around my waist, as I carried us over to her couch. I gently dropped her on the sofa, with myself on top without once, breaking the kiss.

In the middle of our make out session, my thoughts started to wander off, and before I knew it, Selena's name came in mind.

I frowned.

I pushed her name away and I carried on with the kiss, but not only her name but her face was back within a matter of seconds.

I frowned again and shook her off my head.

Jacque, noticing my facial expressions, broke away from the kiss.

"Justin are you okay?" She asked worriedly.

"Everything's fine babe." I said leaning back in.

She tugged at my shirt and I did the same with hers. Seconds later we were both shirtless, with her bra exposed. I then, leaned in and started kissing her neck.

"J-Ju-Justin." She moaned, once I found the sweet spot on her neck. I slid my hand slowly down her stomach and right as I was about to enter her pants - Selena entered my mind once more.

I stopped all my movements and frowned. 'Justin calm down and just clear your damn thoughts.' I thought to myself. I leaned back in and started to trail my kisses down her neck. My hand started gliding back down her stomach.

"Co-Come on Justin!" Jacque urged me impatiently.

I kept trailing my kiss down her neck, and I traced my fingers on her back, unhooking her bra within a split second. I looked up to look at Jacque and I started to lean in to kiss her again. But the moment I close my eyes, Selena was back in my brain.

"GOD DAMNIT." I let out a yell in frustration, without even noticing it. I sat right back up and cupped my face with my hands rubbing it.

"Justin what the hell?" Jacque asked in confusion.

"I- I can't do this." I said grabbing my shirt and putting it on.

"What?!" Jacque raised her voice, as I stood up and walked towards the door. "Are you fucking walking out on me Bieber!?" She yelled.

I held onto the handle of the door and looked back at her, who was now putting her clothes back on.

"I guess I am." I said walking out.

Closing the door, I heard Jacque's yells. "I fucking hate you!"

I ran my hand through my hair roughly due to my stress and walked back to my car. Getting inside, I slammed the door shut in anger. Why couldn't I get Selena out of my fucking head? I hit my head back on my seat and closed my eyes. I took a few breaths to calm myself down, but Selena's face kept showing up.

"This is fucking ridiculous." I muttered to myself. I took out my phone and called Ryan. After a few beeps, he answered.

"Hello?"

"Ryan, bro, I need to relief some fucking stress. Come over in 15 & bring the bong."

"Dude what's wrong?" Ryan asked concerned.

"Just fucking come!" I raised my voice impatiently.

"Alright Alright." Ryan said and we both hung up.

Moments later, I parked into my driveway. I grabbed my backpack, throwing it over my shoulder and got out, locking my car. As I walked towards the front door, I heard a beep from behind. It was Ryan locking his car.

"Yo man, what's up!" He came over and we did our handshake.

"Nothing, did you bring the stuff?" I asked.

"Yeah, isn't your mom home though?"

"Nah man. You know mom's always busy with traveling and shit. I don't know when she'll be back." I said opening the front door to my house. We walked upstairs to my room and I threw my backpack on my bed.

"Dang, you got GTA 5?" Ryan said excitedly.

"Yeah wanna play?" I said making Ryan nod like a little kid.

I chuckled. "Alright then I'll set up the game, while you light up the stuff alright?"

Ryan went over to his backpack, taking out a small bag and the bong.

About an hour later, we were playing video games, laughing and yelling just like old times. Except the room was now filled with a cloud of fog.

"Oh shit man, weren't you supposed to go over Jacque's?" Ryan asked out of curiosity.

I cringed. "I did."

"Did you guys fuck?" Ryan didn't hold back at all.

I took a deep breath. "No.." I said letting it out.

"What do you mean no?" Ryan was shocked considering my past.

"Honestly, we were about to.. but fucking Selena bro..." I rolled my eyes not taking them off the video game.

Ryan quickly paused the game and looked over at me. "Selena? The new girl?"

"Yeah. She kept crossing my fucking mind. I couldn't focus on.. You know."

"Oh shit." Ryan started chuckling. "Wait that's why your mad?!" He finished.

"Well, she's so annoying. Thanks to her I couldn't do it. She thinks she can just reject me a-"

"Hold up, hold up" Ryan interrupted me. "She rejected you?" Ryan's mouth dropped.

"Yes! After school, I asked her out and she just said 'nah'. Like what the hell man." I could feel myself getting mad on the inside but I managed to stay calm.

"Oh my god!" Ryan said trying to hold back the laughter, but within a matter of seconds, he was laughing hysterically. "She's the first to reject you!"

"Shut up." I said looking over at Ryan who had to cover his face because of the laughter.

"Why wasn't I there to film it, is my question!" Ryan said catching his breath. "AND I won! You owe me twenty bucks!"

I grabbed my pillow and through straight at Ryan. "Man shut up!" I yelled at him. "Your way too high, take a breather won't you?" I chuckled.

About an hour later or two, Ryan helped me clean everything up and he was gone. I was left alone once again in my empty house. I checked my watch noticing it was getting late, so I hurried downstairs to get the house phone. I dialed a number and of course it went straight to voicemail.

"Hey it's Pattie, I can't make it to the phone, but please leave a message, I'll answer right away!"

I tapped my fingers on the table impatiently waiting for the beep, so that I could leave a message.

"Hey mom. You should really change up your voicemail cause you haven't answered for the past two days." I lightly chuckled showing I was okay, but upset on the inside. "Anyways, I had another boring day at school. You know, the usual. I really miss you. The house is pretty lonely without you. I hope you'll be back soon, I love you mom." I smiled at the last few words and hung up. I looked around the empty house and sighed.

I stood up and decided to get ready for bed. After I took a shower and changed clothes, which pretty much consisted of shorts and shirtless, I jumped and landed right in my bed. I brought my arms behind my head, as my eyes stayed wide open.

Unusual nightly thoughts started flooding back in my head.

'Why would she reject me?'
'I don't get it.'
'She was all over me..'
'Ugh she's so annoying'

I argued on and on in my head over Selena and before I knew it, I was fast asleep.

SELENA'S POV

"Hey honey! How was your first day of school!" My mom greeted me from the kitchen, as I walked in through the front door.

Just as I was about to speak my husky mix puppy, Baylor, came rushing towards me barking and jumping. I smiled brightly and crouched down to his level. "Hey Baylor! I missed you so much babe!" I said petting him, causing him to calm down.

"It was okay." I redirected my voice to my mom, as I walked over to my little sister, Gracie. "Hey Gracie, I missed you!" I said giving her a kiss on the forehead making her giggle. I walked over to the counter to carry on my conversation with mom.

"Anything interesting happen?" She asked.

I shrugged. "Just the usual boring classes. I was uncomfortable being the new girl but I'll be okay." I smiled.

"That's my strong little girl." My mom said wrapping her arms around me into a hug.

"Mom I'm not little!" I whined.

"Yes you are, you're still my little baby girl." She said tightening her hug and making me roll my eyes.

"Well, your little baby girl can't breath!" I chuckled making her let go of me.

I then made my way upstairs, with Baylor behind my every step. I threw my backpack on my bed and landed right next to it, letting out an exhausted sigh.

Baylor jumped onto the bed and laid next to me. I put my hand over his head petting it. "Ugh, what a long day." I said.

My thoughts started reviewing everything that had happened today. Especially Justin. How he was the only guy that caught my real attention. How he was so charming. How his smile made me so weak and his eyes were like a maze I'd instantly get lost in.

Within seconds, I found myself smiling at the thought of him. I quickly shook my head, erasing all my thoughts from him and reassured myself.

'Selena remember he's a player, a jerk, who's no good for you. Stop.' I thought to myself.

I decided to take out my lop top and watch some of my favorite movies along with food for the rest of the day. By the time it was night time, I organized my clothes and backpack for my second day of school. I laid in bed and closed my eyes, thinking about Justin one more time before falling asleep.
