Justin's POV

'We r out in a few minutes'

I read Ryan's text before putting my phone back into my pocket.

I was back in the school's parking lot. I was waiting impatiently, leaning against the car door, for Caelyn and Barbara to show up. I had to clear up exactly what happened that night, and I needed the tape. Now that I'm with Selena, I didn't want anything messing that up. Specially my past.

As the minutes passed, my head started slowly bobbing. I was exhausted. Today was an exhausting day. It was full of amazing turn of events, but almost all of my energy was gone. All I wanted to do, was go home and sleep.

Finally, from the distance, the school bell rang. Students started flooding out of the entrance of the school. Car alarms all around me, we're being shut off, as students were getting ready to leave. I placed my sunglasses back on before anyone recognized my eye. Squinting my eyes, I looked through the groups of students, waiting for Caelyn and Barabara.

They were bestfriends, so I knew they were together.

"Aye Justin." Ryan came and we did our handshake.

"Sup bro." I greeted Ryan with a smile.

"Someone's Cheesin'. Could it be the smell of love in the air?" He teased me.

"Man shut up." I chuckled. "You know I don't like that word."

"What word? Love? Love love love love." Ryan laughed.

"Shut the hell up."

"Alright alright." Ryan smirked.

Before I could answer, I spotted Caelyn and Barbara. As usual, they were surrounded by their small, but chatty enough to spread anything and everything around the school, group of friends.

"Aye there they are." Ryan pointed out.

"Yeah. Come on." I said, picking up my pace towards them.

"Barabara." I called out and their whole group, turned around immediately.

"Justin. Love." Barbara smirked.

As Ryan and I walked up them, I could already see them whispering gossip to each other.

"Ladies." I semi-smiled to the girls.

"Justin how are you?"
"Are you okay?"
"Jason is such a dick."
"You didn't deserve that."
"Ryan you're such a good friend."
"Justin, you're so lucky to have Ryan."

I heard the girls comment on what happened Friday. I ignored every one of them, keeping my focus on Caelyn and Barbara.

"Caelyn, Barbara? Can we talk?" I said sounding serious.

"Sure." They said in unison.

I looked around the girls who didn't move an inch.

"Alone." I specified, but no one moved, once more.

"Yeah... I don't think they're gonna move Justin." Ryan leaned in and whispered to me.

"What's so serious, that we can't talk here Justin?" Barbara said sounding skeptical, but smirked, knowing what I had in mind. Barbara always knew how to play mind games.

"You know, I'm pretty fucking tired right now. I don't have time for this bullshit." I sternly said.

"Wow Justin. Let's calm down on the language." Caelyn put in. "Hey Ryan." Caelyn smiled. Caelyn did always have a crush on Ryan since Freshman year.
