JUSTIN'S POV
Sure? Did Selena just accept to go not only to Jason's party but with him?
"Great! I'll text you the details and everything." Jason smirked while I leaned back in my chair in defeat and disbelief.
"Oh I'll give you my number." Selena said smiling.
She took out a small piece of paper and pen and started jotting down her number, handing it to Jason who's face never failed to let go of his proud smirk.
"I'll see you at the party on Friday... beautiful." He said making Selena turn into a giddy little girl and making my blood boil.
Seconds later, he was gone and the only thing that filled the air between me and Selena was dead silence. I was mad, and I wasn't sure why. I haven't felt this emotion before. I didn't know what to even call it.
"Are you kidding me?" I questioned a frozen Selena.
I sat there with my arms crossed, just watching Selena take her book out and start working as if nothing had happened. She was avoiding eye contact with me as much as she could.
'Alright. Fuck it. Why should I care anyway?' I thought to myself. In a harsh movement I took my backpack, standing up and threw the strap over my shoulder. With my anger losing its control, I kicked the seat roughly, making it hit the table and causing Selena to jump. Heads turned my way, but I quickly shrugged it off making my way through the classroom and towards the door.
Mr. Armstrong, noticing my actions, spoke up in a stern voice. "Mr. Bieber where do you think you're going?"
"Anywhere but here." I muttered taking a tight hold of the door handle.
"Justin. You know I can't let you out without a hall pass or else I'll have to call Security."
"Call Security! I don't care." I turned around and shrugged before I turned the door handle and swung the door open.
I walked down the hall and down the stairs. Unknown emotions kept running through me and it was frustrating me even more. Turning the corner, I spotted 'Student Services' and walked right in.
"Justin! Back so quickly?" Mrs.Kaye spoke once she saw me coming through the door.
I walked in and slumped into one of the seats. "Yeah. You shouldn't be surprised." I chuckled.
"Oh Justin." She sighed moving her attention back to some paperwork.
"Allison?" I said looking up curiously.
"Yes?" She spoke up.
"Let's say you really want some-" I paused carefully rewording what I was about to say. "Something. Let's say you really want something. But someone else takes it.. and you get really mad. But it's a weird kind of mad.."
"Justin what's going on exactly?" Allison chuckled trying to understand what I meant.
I sighed. "Fine. There's this girl. Okay, I wanted her. You know how I am with girls" I said making Mrs.Kaye chuckle and shake her head. "And Jason. Fucking Jason-"
"Aye watch your language." She pointed out.
"Right. Sorry.. Jason took her. He asked her to the party once and she said yes! I've tried and tried and tried to take her out and she rejected me all those times! And I'm angry. But it's a weird type of angry." I let everything out.
"Sounds to me like you're jealous." Mrs.Kaye said with a smile on her.
I cringed at the word. "Jealous? WHAT! I am not jealous! No! I don't get jealous, I could care less!" I defended myself.
"Justin, if you don't care. Why are you sitting here talking about it?" She said trying to make me realize something I didn't want to admit to.
"Okay. Maybe I care just a little bit." I murmured under my breath. "But I'm not jealous! I just don't like Jason."
Mrs.Kaye started chuckling, when the school's phone started ringing. She reached over and answered it.
"Yes?"
"Oh hello Mr. Armstrong what can I help you with?"
'Shit' I thought to myself.
"Justin?" Mrs.Kaye turned around and looked at me.
I put the palm of my hands together and pleaded for her not to say anything.
"In fact, he's in Student Services right now. He'll be right back in a moment." She said making me head hang low.
She hung up the phone and looked over at me. "Alright Justin, you need to get to class before you get in major trouble."
I groaned and picked up my backpack. "Fine. Bye Allison! Thanks for listening."
"You're welcome sweetie." She said as I walked out the door and back to class.
Walking back down the hallway, up the stairs and turning the corner, I kept dreading to see Jason and Selena. But I had to go back, I couldn't stand another detention.
As I walked back in class, I could almost feel Mr.Armstrong's glare.
"Nice of you to join us again Justin." He said sarcastically.
"You know me. Always trying to please others." I sounded as sarcastic as him.
I walked over to my seat next to Selena and dropped my backpack on the table.
The rest of the class was completely quiet, while Selena and I shared no communication or eye contact at all. Once the bell rung, I quickly got my backpack and instead of walking to my next class, I went straight home.

SELENA'S POV
'3rd day of school Selena. Alright, you got this. Just remember what you need to stay away from:
1.School meat
2.Justin
3.Administrators
4.Justin
5.Anything that includes Justin' I reminded myself in my thoughts as I parked in the school's parking lot. Yesterday went by so quick I'm still processing it. Jason asked me out to his party, which means that, I have a date with someone, I have plans on Friday, and Justin hates me.
But everything was fine because I'm done putting up with Justin. I know he's bad for me and I had to focus on my goals.
I got out of my car, and locked it as I walked up the stairs and into the school. As I walked through the entrance, heads started to turn my way. Girls that were walking past me, looked up and down at me, noticing every inch of my body. Guys by the lockers, were talking and smirking my way.
'What's going on' I thought to myself, getting more uncomfortable by the second.
"Hey Selena!" I heard Taylor's voice from behind.
I turned around to find her, Charity, and some other girls I didn't know.
"Hey!" I waved, followed by her motioning me to come over.
I walked over to them and gave Taylor and Charity a hug.
"Selena, this Sam, Ashley, and Vanessa. Guys, this is Selena." Taylor introduced everyone to me.
"Hi." I flashed the best smile I could pull off.
"Oh. So you're Selena." Vanessa smirked.
"W-What." I said worriedly.
"Oh everyone has been talking about you. Not only are all the guys crazy about you-"
"But now that Jason asked you to his party, Justin's going crazy." Sam interrupted Vanessa.
"Congratulations, Justin has never been jealous before." Ashley chuckled.
"Wait Jason asked you to his party?! What! Why didn't you tell me!" Taylor said flustered.
Everything they just said was making me dizzy. Their words swirled in circles in my head without even processing. I was confused and I didn't get why people found it so interesting to talk about me. I needed to lie down and take a breather.
"Oh well you can't believe everything people say guys." I tried to do a light chuckle and half smile. "I-I'm gonna go to- uh, uhm to- class." I stuttered and quickly turned around making my way down the hallway past all the stares and whispers.
I was so overwhelmed and my thoughts were making my head spin so much, that I didn't even notice where I was walking. I suddenly came to a stop and my books to the floor when I accidentally bumped into someone.
"Shit. I'm sorry. I didn't know where I was going!" I apologized leaning down to pick up my books.
"It's okay. Here I got you." He said leaning down to pick up my books before I could.
When I looked up to see who it was. It was Justin.
"Here." He said and his smiled widened once he saw me. "Selena. Hey!"
Without letting myself get lost looking at him again, I let out a grunt, quickly took my books and stood up. I looked around to find his friends staring right at me. I turned around and quietly started walking away.
"Wait Sel!" He jogged up to where I was. I kept a straight face and never looked at him once.
"Sel?" He looked at me with a puzzled look.
"What." I stopped walking and finally looked at him.
"Wait why are you mad at me?" He asked.
"Justin, you can't just have anger tantrums when things don't go your way and then expect everyone to be okay with it!" I slightly raised my voice making him jump a bit.
He quickly shot back. "Wow hold up. Ever since you got here, things haven't been going my way at all!" His voice level raised as much as mine.
"Well that's not my fault Justin!"
"Yes it is!" He through back his head in frustration.
"How!" I yelled.
"Because! I-I don't- I don't know! You just-" he put his head down and rubbed his face with his hands trying to find what to say.
"Whatever Justin." I rolled eyes and started to walk off.
"Wait you can't go to that party with Jason." I heard his voice pleading from behind.
"And why not?" I turned around.
"All he wants to do is get in your pants."
"Isn't that what you wanted to do anyway Justin?" The moment I said that, his facial expression changed. He stood there quietly with his hands in his pocket.
And with that, I walked off.
JUSTIN'S POV
I watched as Selena walked off. I had nothing left to say, she left me speechless. I turned around to find Ryan, Christian, and Chaz covering their mouths in awe.
"Holyshit." Ryan let out.
"She called you out." Christian said shocked.
"Shut the fuck up." I said slamming my locker shut in anger.
"Bro calm down, she's just a girl. Since when do you even care?" Chaz asked.
"I fucking don't. Leave me alone!" I yelled and started walking away in frustration.
Frustration. That's all I've been feeling lately. All the time. I don't get even get why. But, when I talk to Selena I don't feel frustrated, even if she's the cause of it.
"Yo Justin."
I turned around to find Jason smiling.
"See your eye's getting better." I said as he walked closer to me.
"Things have been going pretty good actually." He said without letting that smile leave his face.
"Oh really?" I said with a straight face.
"Yeah. Specially since I got Selena to go to the party with me this Friday." He smirked, making my body tense up.
"What does that have to do with anything. She's just a girl." I said.
"Not to you." He chuckled.
I couldn't resist it anymore. My anger was fighting to break loose and some of it did. I quickly took a tight grip of Jason's shirt and brought him closer to me.
"Where did you hear that?" I said through my clenched jaw and teeth.
"Everyone knows you like this girl Justin. It was just a matter of time before someone took her from you." He said calmly but mischievously.
I let go of the grip on his shirt. "I don't fucking like her. You know what type of guy I am. I don't do that shit."
"Oh okay. I'm glad because her and I are going to have the same type of fun you Vienna had." He said backing away and walked off with the class change bell ringing.
Everyone around me starting walking off to their classes, until I was the last one in the hallway. Alone. I was looking down to the floor. I felt this strange emotion in my stomach and it wouldn't go away. I'd never felt so much anger.***What will Justin do? You'll have to wait and see! Haha. I hope you enjoyed this chapter!
