Maybe I'm not Worthless (A Jimin and BTS fic)

Concert - blockb

Zico pov ~

Bts were amazing on stage. Jimin did great and I couldn't believe what a great singer and dancer he was. It would be a fair competition that's for sure. I noticed Jimin was over there joking with the blockb members before they went to get some water. I walked towards Jimin as he turned towards me. "You did great Jimin. I hope we can perform as well as you guys," I laughed nervously. He looked at me ," Of course you will Zico! You're a great leader and one of the best people I've ever met," Jimin said smiling.

I shook my head ," Even after ruining your life since kindergarden? You still think I'm great?" I asked confused. He laughed ," Oh Zico. Of course you are!" He pointed towards the other members of blockb who were goofing around before the performance. I looked back at him confused.

"Look at them. You took a group of misfits who didn't work well anywhere else and made a great team out of them. Kyung was weird and loud but you still accepted him. Taeil was a nerd like me but you taught him how to make friends. P.O. Was a little kid coming to the school for the first time, everyone thought he was too tall and his voice was too deep for his age but you accepted him in anyways. And Jaehyo, he was very quiet and shy and you finally showed him that it was okay to open up and show people who he really was. B-bomb was completely full of himself. Nobody wanted to be friends with him except you. You showed him how to be confident but not over confident. And ukwon was a sweet boy who was just scared of being hurt. You protected him and he turned out to be a pretty great guy. You took this group of crazy outcasts and made them great people. Zico I'm so proud of you and what you did with them. You are a real leader Zico and I know you're going to do great today. All of you," Jimin said putting a hand on my shoulder.

I smiled ," Thanks Jimin I really needed that," I said smiling. He nodded," now go out there and have fun okay?" He asked. I nodded before turning towards the guys ," Come on guys we're up!" I said as they nodded and followed. We put on our clown masks as the music started playing and the members got in their position. I don't think anybody was prepared for us. "Let's have fun guys! Who cares if we don't win, we're still blockb!" I said smiling. They nodded before shouting "yeah!"

We heard the crowd cheer as the song began with me coming out on stage. We performed a song called "very good." It was fun and crazy and it showed our true colors. We didn't care that the judges looked at us weirdly. We were having fun and that's all that matters. Jaehyo, Ukwon, Kyung, b-bomb, Taeil, p.o, and me. All together.

Together we may be misfits but we're the greatest misfits you'll ever see or hear. The crowd was having fun and we were having fun and that's all that matters. No matter what happens we'll always be a group of misfits, but at least we'll have eachother. All this time I hurt Jimin just because I was scared of being an outcast. Now I embrace it.

It's funny how something so small like me just wanting to fit in could've turned into something as big as Jimin wanting to end his life. It's a new start and it starts now. No more being afraid of being ourselves. There's only one of each of us and if only us 7 can come to accept it than so be it. We are block b , and we are block buster.
