We had been in New Orleans for five days and it is the second to last day of our stay. Artemis and Holly get along will. He seems to be like a protective older brother when she is concerned. His tried to be close to me even made us share room. I do feel something for him, but I still not happy with this full arranged marriage idea.
Today is the day of the jazz parade and I am helping Holly with her costume. We all got our own outfits for the occasion. Holly isn't going to wear any make-up, but looks adorable in her outfit (above). My outfit was a skirt, black crop top, dark red hat and flats (Below). I even got Artemis to wear some colour today for the parade (Under Tamika's outfit).

Once Holly and I were ready we went into the lounge area of the penthouse we were staying in. Artemis was there waiting already in the clothes Holly and I picked out for him. "You look cute Holly and Tamika you look beautiful" he said kissing Holly's cheek and hugging me. He then grabbed Holly's hand keeping an arm around my waist leading us outside.
Where the parade was already in full swing with music and dancing. They even got members of the crowd in costumes to join them. One of them comes over to us and looks at Holly. "Do you mind if she joins the parade?" the girl asks. "You guys can join as well you are such a beautiful family" she say looking at the three of us.
"Holly do you want to join the dancing and parade?" I asked looking at her. She nodded her head and I looked at Artemis for his decision. It doesn't look like he'd enjoy this sort of thing. But it surprises me by picking Holly up and grabbing my hand dragging us to the front of the parade.
He put Holly down and some other kids in the parade started to dance with her. Then he took my hand and we started dancing together. When a song I know started, I started to sing along quietly and he joined in. One of the performers gave us headset mikes and our voices were heard through the crowd.
That is want happened for the next few hours even Holly got a mic and started singing. We sang a song just the three of us with the band. When we got to the clubs we were made to sing and dance on the stage. Artemis and I only had a few drinks so not to get drunk. I kept Holly in my line of sight the full time.
When she started to get tired Artemis picked her grabbing my hand again. He lead us out of the club and down the street. Holly fell asleep in his arms during the walk back to the pent house. Which only took ten minutes and I took her from her arms to place her on the bed. I took off her shoes and outfit putting her in her p.j's. Once I knew she was asleep, I left the room and took off my accessories.
Artemis came up behind me wrapping his arms around my waist. "Did you have fun my princess?" he asks. I nodded my head and then started to brush my hair. He took the brush from me and did it himself. "You've barely spoken to me the full trip, please tell me want you are thinking" he says.
I sighed before answering "I feel something for you, but I don't know want it is. And I don't know how to act around you let alone start a conversation. I haven't head a boyfriend in six years and he wasn't serious neither was my first boyfriend. So I don't know how to be a proper girl friend let alone a bride" I finish quietly looking down.
"I don't aspect you to act in any special way just be yourself. How about we play twenty questions? So we can get to know each other better" he states and I nod my head. I went to brush my teeth and change before joining him on the bed.
