"How did you get into my grandparents house?" I demanded standing beside my Uncle.

He chuckled before answering "the was unlocked and I remembered I forgot to introduce myself." Then he took my hand placing a kiss on it before looking into my eyes. "I am Artemis Fowl Nomed" he told me.

"Will I was just telling everyone how I am not marrying you" I told him. Dexter whimpered and came to rub his head into my stomach. Artemis chuckled again before speaking again.

"You do not have a say in the matter this deal was made centuries ago" he said. "Now in regards to your sister, she may come with us" Artemis told me.

"No, you are already taking my oldest granddaughter you are not taking Holly too" Grandma told him.

"Where else will she go when you and your husband die in a year?" he asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked quietly as I patted Dexter's head.

"Your grandparents will die in a year I don't know how. But it will happen and then it will only be your Uncle & sister left. However, you Uncle will die in 15 months" he explained. I looked at my grandparents and uncle with tears in my eyes.

"Do you promise to look after our granddaughters?" Grandpa asked. Artemis nodded his head looked at my Uncle who hadn't said a word.

"I have no problem I know you will take care of my nieces" is all he said.

"Don't I and Holly have a say in this?" I asked annoyed.

"Of course, you do my bride in fact I am taking you two on a holiday. That way we can bond and then we'll return here for your birthday. The I will you both to my world the day after" Artemis said.

"What sort of holiday?" a small voice asked from the door. I turned to see Holly standing there with Cody on her shoulder. Grandma and I walked over to her holding her close.

"New Orleans is having a Jazz Parade this week" Artemis told her. "I see Shadow has taken care of you" he said looking at Cody.

"His name is Cody and his my cat" Holly stated.

"Actually he is a demon cat I sent her to watch over the two of you as a kitten" Artemis told us. "He reported to me every night how you both were doing" he explained. Cody jumped down from Holly's shoulder to greet Dexter. "Now we have to leave tomorrow for our holiday" he told us. Before he and Dexter disappeared into thin air.

Grandma made Holly and I go to bed after that. So that her, Grandpa and Uncle Bob could catch up. Holly came to my room with Cody and we fell asleep in my bed.
