New Home

Tamika's POV

Dexter greeted us we then followed him and Artemis to the mansion. Holly looked at it in awe and asked "is this our new home?" Artemis chuckled before picking her up making me let go of her hand.

"Yes it is sweetie would you like a tour?" he asks looking between the both of us. We nodded our heads and he opened the door to reveal a beautiful entrance hall. Cody appeared from a door from done the hallway and Holly squealed happily as he greeted her. The three of them showed us where the important rooms are kitchen, living room, garden, stables, library, his office, laundry, and bathroom. Before taking us up stairs where the hallway was lined with portraits.

One in particular caught my eye it was of a man with Artemis's black hair and grey eyes. But he looked older and they had different noses. Artemis must have noticed because he said "that is my Father the current Death. Mum is the only one who calls him by his original name Zachary" he explained.

He then lead us to two doors that were beside each other. "This is your room Holly do you want to open it?" he asked handing Holly a key. She nodded her head taking the key and putting it in the look. When she opened the door it looked like the room she always dreamed of having. Once she jumped on the bed Artemis told her his room was down the hall and mine was next door. Holly had walk wardrobe, bathroom, balcony and fireplace. When she fell asleep on her new bed with Cody next to her.

Artemis escorted me out and to my room next door to hers. "This will be your room until we are married. But you are always welcome to move in before then" he told me smirking. I blushed and turned to admire my room which reminded me of the Gryffindor Tower from Harry Potter. I immediately jumped on the mahogany four poster bed. Artemis chuckled at my childishness before leaning over me.

"I like this position" he told me smirking and I blushed. As I tried to look any where else but him. Artemis grabbed my chin gently "don't hide your blush my love. I think it looks adorable" he says and he starts to lean in. I run my fingers through his hair looking into his eyes as I leaned in as well.

"Artemis we're home bring your bride down!" a voice called from downstairs. Artemis groaned in frustration while I giggled. He kissed my forehead before getting off me then helped me up. Once we got down stairs I saw a beautiful woman in a red dress with two young boys waiting at the bottom.

"Mother it is nice to have you home" Artemis greeted the woman. He then looked at the two boys saying "Beckett, Charles did you behave for mother?" The two of them nodded, but the woman was looking at me. "Mother, Charles, Beckett this is my bride Tamika Legna, her little sister is upstairs sleeping" he introduced me.
