Meeting the Nomeds

Tamika's POV

"I thought you were only bringing your bride home" Artemis's mother stated.

"That was the plan Mother, however I found out the rest of her family will die in two years" he explained. "Also Tamika loves her sister and wouldn't want her to be alone. So I thought it was best to bring both of them here" he told her.

"I am sorry if it is an inconvenience to you Mrs Nomed, but I couldn't leave my sister" I said not looking at anyone.

"It is not my dear, I would love it to have two new daughters instead of one" she said smiling at me. "Please call me Angelina, Mrs Nomed makes me sound old" she chuckled. I nodded my head agreeing with what she said. Then I was tackled by two little bodies.

When I looked up I saw Charles and Beckett hugging me. "Tamika can we call you sis? When do we get to met your little sister? What's her name?" they asked together. Artemis got them off me and I stood up with his help before answering their questions.

"Her name is Holly, she is only five years old. She is asleep at the moment so you'll met her tomorrow. And yes you can call me Sis if you want too" I told them. They nodded happily before Angelina sent them to bed.

"Angelina I'm home is our son back yet?" a voice asked from the front door. Then the man from the painting walked into the room. He hugged Angelina's waist kissing her forehead. Before looking at Artemis and I saying "you must be Tamika."

I nodded my head shyly not looking at anyone he chuckled. "She is beautiful Arty and her sister is here as well I take it" he said looking at Artemis. He then pulled me into a hug and said "welcome to the family." When he released me he pulled Artemis into a hug while Angelina hugged me.

"I think it is time Tamika went to bed" Artemis said pulling me away from his mother. His parents nodded their heads saying they'd see us in the morning. Also that they couldn't wait to met Holly. He then led me back to my room and kissed my cheek saying "goodnight my love." Before he left, I shut the door and climbed into bed falling asleep quickly.

(next morning)

I woke up early to find Holly curled up beside me sleeping peacefully. "Sweetie, why are you?" I asked quietly waking her up. She looked at me before crawling into my lap.

"I couldn't sleep so I came to your room and saw you were asleep" she said. I smiled hugging her close to me. Once she left I got ready for the day before going to her room. Holly was dressed and took my hand as I lead her downstairs to the kitchen. Angelina was there already cooking while her husband was reading a newspaper.

"Angelina, Mr Nomed this is my little sister Holly, why don't you say hello sweetie" I introduced/suggested. Holly nodded her head and went over to Angelina first asking what was for breakfast. She squealed happily hearing there would be pancakes. Then she walked over to Mr Nomed who placed her on his lap tickling her.

Beckett and Charles then ran into the room, but stopped when they saw my sister on their fathers lap. "Holly this Beckett and Charles, Artemis two younger brothers" I told her as she looked at them. She hoped off their fathers lap and was pulled into a hug.

That is when I felt strong arms wrap around my waist. "I see everyone is getting along fine" he stated. I nodded my head in agreement then we all sat down and had breakfast together.
