Poison and Plan

Tamika's POV

Before the car even came to a stop I opened the door and jumped out. Ignoring Artemis's shouts behind me I ran to the front door. Once inside I ran to Holly's room to see her hooked up to machines with Death beside. "You stay away from her it is not her time yet" I snarled at him and he backed away from her.

"Father what happened?" Artemis asked as he entered the room. I sat next to Holly placing my hand on her forehead. She was burning up so I went to the bathroom to get a wet towel. When I got back Death was gone and Artemis sat beside Holly. I placed the wet towel on her forehead before taking her hand in mine.

"Can you save her?" I asked not looking up from Holly's closed eyes.

"I cannot there are only two ways to save her" he told me and I looked at him with pleading eyes. "Only becoming a demon or 'Life' healing powers can cure her" he explained placing a hand on my check. "But like I told you before, if I turned her into a demon now she'd be a child forever" Artemis stated pulling me close. "And 'Life' does not exist yet" he told me.

"Want about me?" I asked when we pulled away and he gave me a confused look. "You told me when I turn and we marry, I'll become 'Life'" I stated. He nodded his head looking into my eyes.

"This is true, but we only just officially became engaged and I know you want Holly at the wedding. But she can't go anywhere in her condition" he told me sadly. "She has a week minimum before the poison kills her" he said looking at Holly.

"But you can turn me and we can get married now" I stated confidently. "Then have an actual wedding ceremony when she is better" I explained. "Please, you already proposed and we love each other" I pleaded.

"If this is want you want then we'll do it I'll turn you now and we can be married tomorrow. Then you will become 'Life' and have the power to heal your sister" he told me leaning in. I nodded my head and he started to kiss my neck slowly. "There is a place I want to turn you" Artemis said and next thing I know we are surrounded by snow.

"Look up my love" he told me and I did as I was told. When I looked up I saw the northern lights shining above us. "The southern lights my love" he chuckled fondly before kissing my neck. "This may hurt at first" he stated before sinking his teeth into my neck. As I went to scream he covered my mouth with his spare hand.

So I was nearly moaning in pleasure as he pulled away licking where he'd bit me. My eyes closed for a moment then opened to see him leaning in. I noticed a drop of red on his lips and went to say something. But he stoped me with our first kiss and soon I felt him pushing something down my mouth.

It was both sweet and metallic, that is when I released it was blood he was making me drink. I tried to pull away but he held me tight to his body. Soon I was kissing him back savouring the test of his lips on mine. When pulled away he wiped something off my chin as he smiled fondly at me.

"Sleep my love, when you wake you'll be a demon" he told me. My eyes closed as I felt him lifting me up into his arms. The last things I saw before falling asleep was his glowing red eyes and the southern lights.
