Caelie's POV

No. No. I will push those thoughts away. I don't care if I really do like him, I don't want to. I don't like the idea of risking a perfectly good friendship for potential feelings that are most likely not even mutual. So, I'm pretending that this conversation never happened.

"So, When's dinner?"

Avery looked pretty confused, to say the least.

"What?"

"I asked, when is dinner?" I repeated to her while smirking.

"Uh, no. You are not getting out of this conversation that easily. We need to talk about this."

"Talk about what?" I tried to act innocent and all.

"About you liking Niall!" She screamed at me.

"What? I like Niall? Where did you hear that?"

She was getting frustrated, I could tell.

"Just admit that you...stop denying that...stop...never mind," She sighed.

I did a little victory dance in my head, because I was able to avoid the somewhat awkward topic.

Woo.

Party for Caelie.

Caelie for president.

All of a sudden, my stomach growled, loudly may I add. Avery rolled her eyes at me and otssed me my phone, which was on the coffee table next to her.

"Order some pizza or something, because I'm really hungry, too."

With that, she plopped down on the couch next to me, turned on the television, and started flipping through channels while I did what she said and ordered pizza.

After ordering a small pepperoni pizza since there weren't many of us, I noticed that Cara somehow disappeared.

"Aves?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you know where Cara is?"

She sat up straight. "Uh, no. I thought she was with us when we were talking? She must have gone someplace else when we were too caught up in that little argument."

"Oh, great. Cara?" I screamed in no particular direction from my place on the couch.

"Yeah?" I heard a muffled voice call out.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that that was Cara.

"Where are you?"

"In the kitchen!"

"Okay! We're just checking if you're alive!" Avery yelled for me.

"Thanks!" Cara sarcastically replied a few moments later, while walking into the living room with a bag of chips in her hands.

"What do you want to do now?" I asked the two.

I got nothing except the sound of the T.V. and crunching of chips as a response.

"Wow, you guys are being productive today."

"I know right," they replied as if it were their instinct to be sarcastic.

I rolled my eyes and let them be.

A couple of seconds later the doorbell rang, hopefully signalling that our pizza was here. Avery and Cara looked up from the television and lazily looked at me.

"You get it," Avery told me.

While getting up from the couch, I shook my head and muttered, "You both are being particularly lazy today."
