Caelie's P.O.V.

I woke up the next morning to a notification alarm on my phone. I groggily rubbed my eyes and sat up on my bed, picking up my phone. The little screen's time read 9:46 A.M. That is too early for me too be woken up on a Saturday. 11:00 is when my day starts. Unless I have something important to do ( which   I almost never do.) I opened the message and it said:

Hey, Cae! lol that rhymed :p Anyways, me and the boys were wondering if you and Avery wanted to eat some breakfast with us at a small cafe we found? It's called 'The Joie de Vivre.' Sounded pretty cool, so..yeah. Text me back if you're up for it, bye! (:

It was from 'Niall:DD'. I smiled a little, and texted him back while attempting to (key word: attempting) stand up from my bed:

Yeah, sure! I'll just wake up Aves and get ready. Don't have too much fun without us! ;D haha, see you later:)

After I nearly collapsed, I literally threw the phone onto my bed, but it bounced off and landed with a 'thump' on the wooden floor. I just stared in shock and pity at my phone, debating whether or not I should pick it up or leave it there. I let out a frustrated groan and decided to leave it be. I jumped over my phone to my closet and picked out an outfit to wear; it  was a coral/white striped top with black skinny jeans, my tan(ish) leather jacket, and a pair of white high-top sneakers. I laid the clothes out on my bed and went to the bathroom to get ready.

After I took a shower and brushed my teeth, I put on my clothes and headed to Avery's room to wake her up.

I looked at the familiar sky blue door as I knocked mercilessly on it. "AVERY! GET UP, GET DRESSED, WE'RE EATING BREAKFAST WITH ONE DIRECTION IN FIFTEEN MINUTES!" I yelled through the door. "Alright, I'm up, I'm up! Ten minutes!" she screamed back, traces of sleep evident in her voice. I smirked a little while walking to our small living room, knowing that I had successfully woken Avery up.

While watching some Saturday morning cartoons, I realized that my phone was still in my room. Sighing loudly, I lazily walked to my room and picked up my phone. I checked my phone for any notifications, but there weren't any. I made a little noise and I don't know where that came from, I don't know. I went on Twitter while walking out of my room, which was a bad idea. I walked right into my wall and could already see a bruise forming on my forehead. I just ignored the THROBBING pain in my head and decided to walk while looking up. Sigh. Wow, I just sighed in my head, didn't I. Sigh. I walked past Avery's room to find it empty. I kept on walking down the hallway to the kitchen and as soon as I turned the corner, I screamed. Avery was right in my face, but she was wearing a mask. A grudge mask. "AVERY ROSILYN COLVERT, YOU KNOW THAT THE GRUDGE IS MY BIGGEST FEAR EVER. WHY?" I screamed at her as her laughter slowly died down. "I'm sorry, I just found this mask hanging around. I saw the opportunity and I took it," Avery reasoned with me. I let out a huff and said, "Let's just go. The cafe we're meeting them at is a couple of blocks away." And with that, we walked out of the door and made our way to the Joie de Vivre.

The walk to the cafe was full of Avery's apologies and me telling her that she's forgiven. I'm not even going to tell you our conversation, it would just be too repetitive. When we (FINALLY) arrived at the street of the cafe, I ran inside, leaving Avery outside on the street. I whipped my head around, looking for the boys. I finally spotted them at a booth near the back, probably to hide from fans. I speedwalked towards them and slid into a seat. constantly looking behind my back.

"Hey Cae, what are you doing?" Niall asked while the others watched. "Hiding, Avery, mad, shh," I panted out, tired from the sudden burst of energy.
