"Hey babe" shouted Nicole "Pass us a fag will ya", I took a puff of it before I gave her over the cigarette. "So where have you being hiding out these past few days?" she asked throwing a beer bottle into the pond. "With Lucas and his pals" I said taking a swig of my vodka "They let me stay there after my parents felt the need to lock me up". My head swayed to the beat of the music.
"WHOOO WHOOO!!!" screamed one of the boys as he jumped into the pond, we all laughed. I felt the alcohol start to take affect as everything was funny and the floor seemed to be out of reach, "Nicki?" I asked looking around "I think the floors moving, could you ask it to stop" I giggled. "Gorge! did you spike the drink!?" she screamed Nicole somewhere next to me, "I might have added something to the drinks but not much" he said slyly. I laughed as the room spun around me, I felt so hyper yet so relaxed.
"Lexi" whispered a voice beside me "That's your name right?", "Yip! that's me, who's there?" I asked looking around to see moving bodies and colors floating around. I think there was more than just Tabaco in that cigarette."Would you like to dance?" purred the voice as a warm strong hand went over mine, "Sure" I giggled leaning against the body. We walked over to the middle of somewhere, I started to sway to the music and I let the feeling of freedom sink in.
The music filled my ears and head and all I could see dancing bodies and the heat from all the crowded people around me. I felt his arm slide around my waist and his fingers pull my face towards his, my lips felt warm with the pressure off his and my head felt fuzzy. I laughed and threw my head back closing my eyes, I loved not having to care for once in my life! He spun me around and I felt the breeze run through my hair. I spinned and spinned not caring that I felt dizzy emotionally and physically. I opened my eyes and saw colors and unknown faces around me.
I had somehow managed to fall on the floor and not notice. I looked up and saw people stare back down at me smiling, I giggled and tried to get up but failed and just lay back on the floor. It was like gravity was pushing me down making sure I didn't move and I didn't fight it, now that I thought about it I was tired. I covered my eyes as the blackness swallowed my vision.
