Lexi's P.O.V

"You ok?" asked Mark for the 5th time. "Yes Mark I'm fine" I said rubbing my fingers against my temples trying to rub away the worry that was gathering in my head. I looked out the window off the taxi wishing the driver would go faster. When we finally pulled up in front of the hospital I was ready to rip apart the back seat with anticipation. We jumped out of the car quickly paying the driver, we rushed to the front door out of breathe and wide eyed. "Hi how can I help you?" asked the women at the desk smiling, "Kyle Charmly?" I asked looking at the computer.

She typed in the name and looked back at me with sad eyes. "He was just taken in a few minutes ago" she said quietly, "Can I see him?" I said frustration in my voice, "Sorry but he isn't ready for any visitors" she said shaking her head. She held a finger while she dialed a number into the little phone on her desk. "Somebody will be with you in a minute" she told us pointing to the row of uncomfortable looking chairs. We sat down slowly. I turned to look at Mark but he was looking away from me and down the hall, I turned to see what he was looking at. There was a small girl walking down the corridor holding hands with a nurse. She smiled and laughed at something the nurse said, she looked sick physically but not emotionally. She had cancer, and it was obvious she was going to die. I turned to see Mark staring at me with a sad look, "Its all right" he said pulling me into a hug, tears steamed down my face.

After ten minutes of finger twiddling and loud sighs of frustration the nurse came. "Kyle Chalmer?" she asked, we nodded unable to speak. She smiled sadly and sat next to us on the chair. "Kyle is a cutter and he has cut too deep, he managed to cut into a vital artery called Ulnar artery it is connected to the elbow and the wrist, if cut he could potentially bleed to death" she said explaining everything as calmly as possible. "Is he going to die?" I whispered tears running down my cheeks, "We are not sure yet but it is possible, we are doing everything we can to help him but you should prepare for the worst". I nodded trying not to sob. "If you come this way ill show you to the waiting room" said the nurse smiling.

We followed her down the corridor trying not to look into the little rooms full of people on the verge of death. When we got to the room full of chairs and crying people I spotted Seth. I ran over to him and sat down. "Seth?" I said pulling his hair back so I could see his face "This isn't your fault". He looked at me tears running down his face, he shook his head. "That's just the thing Lexi, It is..." he whispered smiling sadly "I kissed him, I made him hate himself and now he's being punished because of me". I wiped his tears with my thumb, "No Seth. You didn't do this!" I whispered crying "You are a great person but you are not a killer, understand?", he nodded tears still rushing down his face. I hugged him both of us crying into each others jumpers.

Mark came and sat next to us holding my hand in his. "So what do we do now?" asked Mark handing me a tissue.

"Now? Now we wait."
