Once we got to the park the boy ran of to the pitch and started kicking the ball. I looked around for Mark hoping we could sit together. He was sitting with his back against an old tree reading a book. He must love to read, that's all he does. He looked good when the light hit his face. I slowly walked over to were he was sitting and placed my jacket on the ground before plopping down next to him. He looked over at me and smiled then returned to reading his book. "What you reading?" I asked looking at the pages. "Oliver twist" he said his eyes still glued to the book. I was surprised by his answer, "Ahh a classic" I said smiling. "So your familiar with the story?" he said putting in a book mark and turning round to me. The strange thing is the book mark was a note. I so badly wanted to read it. "Yes, yes I am" I said my eyes still on the note "my mother was a huge fan of classical stories, she had a library full of them". "You had a library in your house?" he said raising his eye brows. Oh no, I didn't want him to know about my "life style" he would think I'm a snob. "Did I say she had a library!?" I said laughing nervously "I meant she went to the library and borrows them". "Ok?..." he said looking at me strangely then returning to his book.
I looked over to were the boys were playing football, they were good. About an hour later (once all of them had sweat dripping from there face) we started to walk back to the flat. It was nice to feel part of there family, I felt excepted. Once we got into the flat we all sat in the living room and started to watch some stupid reality TV show. Jordan jumped of the couch and turned around to face us. "I just had the best idea!" he shouted nearly jumping up and down. "What?" asked Lucas. "We should have a party!" he shouted smiling at us. We sat in silence and turned to look at Lucas. "It could be a welcome party for Lexi?" said Jordan trying to persuade him. "Well... ok then" he said smiling. We all cheered and patted him on the back. "I will sort everything out you just look your best" said Jordan already looking through his contact list. "How many people" asked Lucas narrowing his eyes. "50?" asked Jordan, he was pushing his luck. "20" "30" "Deal" smiled Jordan, I had a feeling he was not going to follow Lucas's rules. When the room cleared out and everyone started to get ready I turned to Jordan "How many people are actually coming?" I whispered. "About 100" he said scrolling through his phone. "100!" I shouted, "Shhh! Yes 100 Lucas is over reacting, ill just give him some beer and he wont know the difference" he said smirking. He walked out the room smiling "Don't worry Lexi everything will be fine". I didn't feel reassured.
