I inwardly groaned.

My life is like, nothing short of terrible.

Why Jacqueline?

She was the source of all my misery.

Having her as a schoolmate alone was torturous, let alone having to practice with her intensively and sharing dreams with her.

Jacqueline, if was affected by my presence, did not show any feeling. It was as if she was Ice. Pure Ice.

Oldie walked forward towards me and whispered in my ear, "Ariel, I know you don't like Jacqueline, putting your hate in an understatement."

I gasped in shock that he knew that, before asking, "How did you know?"

"Ariel, I can sense your feelings. Not only that, if you're not aware, I actually 'follow' you around all the time, because we are one.

My soul lives in yours, whenever I'm not in solid form."

Well that came as a shock to me.

He probably knew myself better than I did, he decided my future, my present was because of him...

I shook my head, wanting to clear my mind.

(Alarm clock ringing is heard in background)

And...

I awoke to reality.

A/N: I have (bad) news.

I can't write the next couple of weeks cause' I'm going overseas, and I have decided to write much much much less often next year because of something really important, and may even put The Gift on hold (not permanently). I shall try to finish as much chapters as possible before the start of next year, and upload them slowly. TT.TT
