Well it's a love hate feeling leaving this place but I know I have to go. With all bags packed, I walk on over to Jessica's dorm to see if she is ready.
*Knock knock knock*
Bri: Hello...are you in here Jessica?"
Jess:Yea bitch...its 5 in the morning, what do you want!??"
Bri: Hoe its two in the afternoon, you better get yo ass up! Alright now, if you don't get up imma leave ya bald headed ass here then you aint gon have no way to get back home....You know yo license got revoked"
Jess:Well Quincy can drive me there"
Bri: Yeah he could have if his car would not have gotten towed last night"
Jess: Okay...okay Im getting up" she says groggily
Bri: good" I say, proud of how I handled that situation
Fifteen minutes later Jessica walks out of the bathroom with her bunny slippers on, her MONDAY IS THE WORST sweatshirt on, and her hair in a messy bun. I know this is out of nowhere but my bestfriend is gorgeous!!! She is light skin with long luxurious thick healthy natural hair and the body of a coke bottle while I, on the other hand, am a full figured brown skin with long healthy natural hair as well(just not as long) with the shape the opposite of a coke bottle . She started going natural a year before me so I'll let her have the extra length. Anyways, now that she is finally ready, I grab my all-ready-packed bags and head for the door
"Wait!!!"
"What!?!" I say slightly frightened
"I wanna say goodbye to Quincy"
"Ughh...really"
"Yeah, Its gonna be a while till I see him again"
"Fine" I sigh giving in to her plea
We walk past the administrators office and all the other dorms until we get to our beloved Quincy's door
*Knock Knock Knock*
"Alright" I hear from behind the door
Two minutes later the door opens and Quincy...'s roommate appears
"Where's Quincy" Jessica states before I can get a word in
He just left to go say goodbye to you" says his roomate
Really??" Jessica smiles and giggles
"Ugghhh...Can we go!?!" I say aggitated
Jessica gives me a look that I recognize. Its the dont-start-with-me-right-now look. I shutup.
"Do you know where he went exactly?"
"No, Im not sure...sorry" says the roomate
"No its okay...thank you for your help" shes says trying to force a smile.
Sadly we slow walk our way back to her dorm since she left her bags but I wasnt about to bother her about it right now. We make our way there she grabs her bags and we head to the car. When we were walking away, although I knew it was real, it felt like a dream. Like it was to good to be true. Am I really leaving here? Its hard to imagine that I'm now in the real world, making real world decisions. You know you hear all the stories about how hard its going to be...well...i guess now I'll find out. Lost in my trace of thought I didnt realize that Jessica was no longer by my side. Maybe she went ahead to the car. I make it to my saturn and right against my window I see Jessica's body pressed against Quincy's slobbering down each others throat while fogging up my window
Bri: "Ahemm"
Quincy: "Oh sorry Bri, we didnt see you there"
Jess: "Yea sorry Bri, its just that...this is my last time seeing him for a while"
Bri: "I get it but did y'all really have to fog up my windows??"
Jess: "Oh, stop being so jealous"
Bri: "I am not jealous...I dont need a man" I say justifying myself
Quincy: "uhh...yes you do so you can loosen up...wink wink"
Bri: "Anyways can we go now??"
Jess: "Yeah, just give me one sec"
Bri: "okay" I say as I hop in the car and roll up the windows to give them a little privacy
Quincy: " I love you babe...you know that right??"
Jess: Of course baby!!!
Bri: As I look through the window all I see is hugs and kisses...wish I had it... All I have are these pringles from last week. Once I lose this weight, somebody will want me...I know they will
Quincy: You know I'll do anything for you right?
Jess: Yes baby...I know
Quincy: Jess I can't live without you. Everyday I wake up Im thinking about you...wondering if you're thinking about me. It kills me when I cant talk to you or be around you. Baby I love you so so so much...
Jess: Quincy please stop playing with me...what are you trying to say?
Quincy: Jessica Prescott Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?
Jess: AHHH!!!!AHHH!!!!! YES!!! BRI GET OUT THE CAR!!!!! IM GETTING MARRIED!!!!
Bri: OH MY GOD JESS IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!! Just wish it was me....
