On the ride home all I hear is "Quincy is this" and "Quincy is this". Now dont get me wrong I love Jess and Quincy but at this point Im kinda over the whole Im-in-love bullshit by now to be honest with you. We pull up to Jess's house, which sort of resembles the house of the grandma's you always eat sunday dinner at.
Its a medium-sized white house with a small porch that is barely off the ground. If a flood was to come, this house would be done for, but anyways
"How do you plan to tell them about the engagement?" I state, distracting myself from my own private thoughts
"I really dont know...It all happened so fast..."
"Well do you know when you plan on getting married?"
"...No"
"Jess?!?!? Come on now...you have to get ready for all these things...Are you sure you're ready to get..."
"Yes!!!" She says cutting me off "I love him!!!!"
"Okay calm down!!! I understand that but you dont have to get married to prove that you love him!!!...Whatever you decide, you do know that I will be here for you no matter what right?"
"..right"
"Well ok, let's go and see your mom and everyone else"
