The spotlight is now on Lolo Vic and Tisoy. They are now joined by Michael sitting on the edge of the bed and Junior, who is busy playing on his lap.

Their light dims and spotlight now on center stage. The setting is now at a tree-lined side walk of a university. Poleng is with her female friends, laughing and chatting as they are walking, school books in their arms. They passby a play ground, where hopscotch marks are drawn.

Poleng: Uy, tignan niyo oh! Piko! How nostalgic! (goes near the marks) Halika girls, laro tayo since we have time before our next class.

Stacy: Uhm, Polly, what's piko? (Joana shrugs her shoulders)

Poleng: You mean you've never played hopscotch before? (they shake their heads no) How about hide and seek? (they shake their heads again) Patintero? Luksong tinik? (all negative) You've never played out on the streets?

Joana: Play out in the polluted streets in the heat of the sun? Whatever for? Sometimes, we just don't understand where you get your ideas, Polly.

Poleng: Then what did you do for fun when you were kids?

Stacy: We swam in our pool or rode horses in our ranch on weekends.

Joana: Or go for a round of polo when I was feeling particularly energetic. Or try whatever new amusement the country club was offering.

Poleng: (sigh) Right. Why did I even ask? Let's forget about it and head to class.

As the girls walk away, Vic steps out behind the tree near a parking lot, where he had been watching Poleng and her friends. A smile forms on his lips as he walks towards the hopscotch lines.

(Step No Step yes plays and he starts to sing and dance)

Tandang tanda ko pa

Ang tumbang preso, bahay-bahayan, at patintero

Doon lang talong-talo na ako sa iyo

Dyaheng dyahe na ako, ooh

step no alam mo step yes i love

sana habang buhay ay maglalaro tayo

step no alam mo step yes i love

sana habang buhay ay maglalaro tayo

ohh ohh oohh

Tandang tanda ko pa

Ang luksong tinik, ang taguan, at ang touch and go

step no alam mo step yes i love

sana habang buhay ay maglalaro tayo

step no alam mo step yes i love

sana habang buhay ay maglalaro tayo

ohh ohh oohh

Step no, Step yes, Step no, Step yes

Vic poses, sighs and shakes head dejectedly, and walks back to the car. Stage goes black.
