Insecure Vic is  equal parts frustrating and heart-rendingly pitiable.

Spotlight on Lola Poleng, Meng and Coleng, who are both crying. Meng and Coleng still flanking Lola Poleng who is seated. Coleng keeps on eating chocolates from the box on the table in front of them.

Lola Poleng: He brought me home that night. Because my guards did not find out about it, my mother never knew, and security remained lax. It helped that the household helpers were rooting for me and Rock. We were able to sneak around but not as often and as open as before. We both soon became busy—him with work and me with finishing my degree. We were both working hard so we can have a future together, but distance and lack of communication eventually took a toll on us.

Their spotllight dims. Spotlight now on Lolo Vic, Tisoy, and Michael.

Lolo Vic: Matapos ang isang buwan ng pagkakayod trabaho, binigyan ako ng boss ko ng bonus at isang araw na day-off. Sabi niya, kung di ko raw tatanggapin ang pahinga na yun, sisesantihin niya na ko. Labis ang pasasalamat ko dahil sa wakas, makakapaghanda ako para mai-date ang pinakamamahal ko. Nagpaporma ako, bumili ng bulaklak at tsokolate, at dali-daling pumunta sa skwelahan ni Paulina para sorpresahin siya. (smiles bitterly) Pero ang di ko alam, ako pala ang masosorpresa.

Their light dims. Spotlight on center stage where Poleng is seen walking holding her books, with her bodyguard and Stacy and Joana. Unlike before, the girls are no longer chatting carefree. Vic watches them behind a tree, trying to find the timing to catch Poleng's attention when a sports car stops in front of Poleng. Frankie steps out of the car, with a bouquet of expensive lilies and a box imported chocolates. Vic could not hear what they were talking about, but he sees Poleng accept the flowers and get into Frankie's car. Vic drops the flowers as the car speeds away.

Centerstage goes black. Spotlight on Lola Poleng, Meng and Coleng.

Lola Poleng: After weeks of not seeing each other, we finally got to meet up. I was so excited then that I arrived an hour early than the time we agreed to meet. But when he arrived, I noticed immediately that something was wrong.

Their light dims. Spotlight on center stage. Poleng is sitting excitedly, holding a box. Vic enters the scene behind where Poleng is facing. He gazes at her with longing for a moment before shaking his head and clearing his throat to announce his presence.

Vic: (small smile) Pasensya na. Matagal ka bang naghintay, Baby?

Poleng: (jumps up and runs to hug Vic) Rock! Miss na miss na miss kita! (holds Vic's heads and kisses his lips)

Vic: (holds her hands holding his face and deepens the kiss) Na-miss din kita (small smile)

Poleng: May problema ba Rock? Bakit ganyan ang ngiti mo?

Vic: (sigh, rubs his face) Wala ito, baby ko. Pagod lang sa talyer. Daming trabaho kasi eh.

Poleng: Awww...ang mahal ko, pagod na pagod na sa kakatrabaho para sa future namin (moves behind him to massage his shoulders) Ah, siya nga pala, may regalo ako sa'yo. (hands him the box) Buksan mo. (sits beside him)

Vic: (opens the box to reveal a crucifix necklace) Baby ko...

Poleng: Tignan mo oh, pareho tayo (shows her necklace) Lagi natin itong susuotin, para kahit na magkalayo tayo, (puts the necklace on Vic) para pa rin tayong magkasama. Sabay na pinapanalangin ang isa't isa.

Vic: (teary eyed) Poleng...pangako, hinding hindi ko tatangalin ito. Salamat. (wipes eyes) Patawad, wala akong regalo para sa'yo.

Poleng: Di na bale. Ang mahalaga, nandito ka sa tabi ko. (leans head on Vic's chest, hugs his waist, and snuggles)

They stay still for a few minutes, savoring the moment they get to be together. Until Poleng suddenly giggles.

Vic: (amused) Oh, ba't bigla kang natawa?

Poleng: Naalala ko lang kasi yung nangyari kanina nung pauwi ako. May natanggap ako na nakakatawa. (smiles)

Vic: (feels insecure, remembering the scene with Frankie) Paano ka nga pala umuwi kanina?

Poleng: Sumabay ako sa kaibigan.

Vic: Sino?

Poleng: (looks at Vic, gauging his reaction) Si Frankie.

Vic: Ah, si Frankie, yung mayaman mong manliligaw? Ganda siguro kotse nun no? (tenses up)

Poleng: Huy, nagseselos ka ba? Kaya lang naman ako sumabay sa kanya kasi si Mamá mismo ang nagsabi sa kanya na sunduin ako. Alam mong di ako pwedeng tumanggi.

Vic: Hindi naman ako nagseselos.

Poleng: Rock naman, huy...(shakes his arm, starts singing Puede ba)

Ikaw nga ba'y nagagalit sa akin

Tunay nga ba ito, pagtatampo mo'y dahil sa akin

Ewan ko ba Minas'y hindi kita mainitindihan

Ewan ko ba sa'yo pag-ibig ko nama'y di nagbago

Poleng: Mahal, huy, wala kang dapat ika-tampo. Hindi ka ba naniniwala sa akin?

Vic: Alam ko at naniniwala ako sa'yo. (kisses her forehead). Pero kailangan ko na talagang bumalik ng talyer. Mauuna na ko. (takes her hand and kisses it, looks into her eyes) Mahal kita. (stands up and leaves)

Poleng: Rock...(stands up, watches his back as he walks away)

Poleng is left alone, wondering what she did wrong for Vic to act coldly like that. The light dims and the stage goes black.
