Samantha Lee was bored. And angry. And annoyed. The group of villains were no closer to finding Ladris and Shego then they'd been two weeks ago. She paced around her room, frustrated. Her brother, Morgan, expertly hurled a knife into the wooden block that was across the room. He waved his hand and the knife flew back to him. Sam watched him for a while, just thinking.

"Morgan?" She said.
"Yes, sister?"
"Have you been able to get a hold of Valdez?"

Morgan twirled the knife between two fingers.
Arianna Valdez was a Kylon child with dark abilities and she was also the leader of one of the world's most dangerous gangs, the Warriors. They were known for their brutal punishments, initiation tactics, and all around ruthlessness. Arianna ruled her young, faithful gang members through a show of sadistic cruelty and fear.

"Yes, sister."
"And? What did she say?"
"She said the Warriors would be glad to offer their services. She would even go herself to make sure that they were brought to us. For a price."
What does she want?"
"She wants us to find the Hayaus family."
Sam figured that was what Arianna wanted. The Warriors had many enemies, but there was one that they feared and despised more than the others... the Hayaus family and the Protectors. There was a good reason for it to.

Arianna had been a Protector once. In fact, she'd been one of the best. But then she'd met Shego and Alina. The X hero and the former Protector helped her to realize her true potential. Then one day, in an epic fight between Alina and the Protectors, she fatally injured 3 Protectors and left with Alina, betraying her best friend and the only family that she had ever known. The Protectors had had a vendetta against the Warriors ever since.
Sam smiled to herself. How long had it been since she had fought Cassie? 3 months? 5? Either way, it had been too long. Morgan grinned back at his sister, knowing what she had in mind.
"I have been wanting a reason to fight Caine again." He said.
"Get Arianna on the phone," replied his sister. "Tell her we accept her offer."
Morgan sheathed the knife and picked up his cellphone.

Arianna picked up on the third ring. "Lee, this better be important."
"I assure you that you will want to hear vthis." Morgan said.
"Continue, then."
"We accept your offer."
"Very well. I will bring you Shego and Cora. Oh, and Morgan?"
"Yes?"
"Tell Sam not to rough up Cassie too much. I am really looking forward to our reunion."
"I'll tell her."
"Good. Talk to you soon, Lee."
"Bye, Valdez."
"It is settled," Morgan told his sister. "She told me to tell you to play nice."
Sam grinned.
"I'll try."
"We should pack. After all, it is a long drive to Texas."
Morgan frowned.
" can't we commandeer a jet?"
"No."
"Why?"
"Because I want to play a little game with my old friend."
Morgan sighed but grinned.
"Very well, sister."
Sam smiled. "There's the best brother in the world."
